Adventure in LUNGIARÜ, the HIDDEN TREASURE of Dolomites [Piz Duleda, Medalges, Crep Dales Dodesc]

I'm happy to say that this episode is the result of a great partnership with the tourism board of San Vigilio di Marebbe, a wonderful area of Dolomites!

After spending some time visiting Lungiarù, a wonderful little village ad the edge of Puez Odle Nature Park, and hiked the Val di Morins, where you can fine 8 old watermills along the river, I hiked 2h30min to reach the top of Crep Dales Dodesc, a spectacular viewpoint above the valley. After enjoying the last light of the day from the top, I hiked down in the valley and prepared for the next adventure.
I left very early in the morning and I reached Medalges Alm at sunrise. Watching the sun hitting the beautiful meadows was just magical!
After this lovely stop I kept hiking towards Piz Duleda (2909m), a fantastic top towards all over the Dolomites, especially Odle Group towards the West and Eastern Dolomites on the other side. It's been a looong hike! And also a little part of Via Ferrata (very easy).
It's been such a great adventure.

Questa volta non mi sono potuto trattenere perché sei stato a Longiarù, per me un luogo del cuore e in particolare la prima escursione che hai mostrato alla Cima Dodici (che ho fatto oltre 10 anni fa). I've hiked up to Piz Duleda twice and it's such a beautiful area! You documented it beautifully as well, amazing footage! If you ever return to the area I've got a tip for you: bivvy in the area around Ütia de Göma and hike out to the Passo Goma/Goma Joch for sunrise. You get the entire Puez Odlegruppe in view. It's incredible.

Conosco benissimo il Piz Duleda essendoci stato più volte partendo però dalla Val Gardena, dove abito, e non dalla Val Badia come hai fatto tu. Posto comunque assieme al Crep dales dodesc (che pronunci non proprio in maniera corretta) veramente meritevoli di essere visitati! Seguo sempre con gioia i tuoi video fatti veramente bene e con passione! Avanti così Bruno!

I've been on the Duleda several times and I'll come back, for sure. Such an incredible place. I also love that high plateau just before the last part up to the summit.
It's really easy to achieve from the huts around, the way from Rifugio Firenze/Regensburger Hütte is also incredible. A stay in the Medalges Alm (you'll sleep just above the cows) is also highly recommended!

Incredible job brother, love your work. I would use a highly stabilized camera for your fast moving selfie shots for the final polishing or make tripod more?. . .I know gopro is a wuss camera but it can be good for that. Your cinematic skills are just Awesome! Composition is great and I love the pan from the feet to the big scene move. I'll be doing that next, great story telling tool. Cheers!
