I love Ricardo Montalban, but he was so much more than Mr. Roarke (or Khan). He was distinguished, debonair, suave, and definitely sexy... I mean, have you seen his physique??!! Watch his Latin dances with Cyd Charisse and others. Muy caliente!!! He was also highly respected, a devout Catholic, active in social causes, and devoted to his wife of 60+ years. Unfortunately, in his later years, he was in considerable pain, had paralysis in his left leg, and needed an assistive device to walk. But he never lost his love of life and respect for others.

As a kid, this has to be one of my favourite shows. I was immediately captivated and couldn't wait for the next episode.

Aaron Spelling claimed he was the one that came up with the idea of Fantasy Island after he had no more ideas for a new TV show before the executives at a meeting.

Herve was fired for groping the women . He had a sign his dressing room door saying " free sex lessons "

At that time he started turning up late, or drunk, to the set of Fantasy Island and demanded the same money as co-star Ricardo.
This got him fired from the show in 1983 and he never landed another major acting role.
