Japanese Houses: Stories of Remarkable Homes and the People Who Made Them

On February 21, the Japan Society hosted an event featuring Naomi Pollock, a world-renowned expert on contemporary Japanese architecture. Her new book, The Japanese House Since 1945, explores exceptional homes created by Japanese architects after World War II. During the event, Pollock shared stories about these remarkable residences and engaged in a discussion with Yoko Kawai, an expert in Japanese design and a Lecturer at the Yale School of Architecture.
