Best bit = 34:35 to 35,41: ''Protect your mindset. Be careful what you let into your mind to shape your neuralnet... Your mindset is the single most important thing that you have. Choose the mindset that you want...''

I just watch one set of news headlines per day for 2 minutes. I don't want to get endlessly drawn into all the hysteria and fear about the ugliest horror from across the world. The stats and graphs from 2:42 to 8,44 = the ACTUAL news.

Our minds default to linear thinking but were in a exponential world.

The first time I heard good stuff would happen, I laughed. I always expect a famine or bad stuff or that nothing will change, but when I saw the real-world statistics of poverty dropping, violence decreasing, life getting better, etc., it is clear that the world is going up.

Yes exactly. The amount of people globally living under a dictator has fallen dramatically. Childhood literacy rates around the world are at an all time high.
The amount of children dying of malnutrition has decreased dramatically. And much more. These are facts.

The data is great, but understanding at what costs have these changes occurred, and whether these changes are sustainable, is also important. Overall, great discussion!

You can get anything. Life isn't about partying, having fun. It is about helping other people and working. Just keep trying to learn new things every day. If you know what the new science and news around world, then what can beat you. That is the mindset that got me from zero dollar to million dollar at 18 to 24.

Question: does anyone know why certain charts have sharp changes from the 1940s to the 1950s? I know WW2 occurred during the 40s, but im not sure about the 50s

4:57 You didn't talk about the birth gap fully. Economic hits linking to birth rates 9 months later. Housing and vehicles some of the top issues from polls. Health care for some. High living costs and predatory economics. Social classes and locked away knowledge in patents and such.
As far as the religions. They are social constructs. If you ask them good enough questions you will see each is different. They have delusion sets and illusions and bias sets. With those bias sets they also have bias blindness. Singularity is just another word for they don't know.
18:16 psychological profiling to pharmacology/pharmaceutical to brain functions to algorithmic representations.
Particle accelerator meets gravitational wave detection.
21:03 You don't need religions. Thats a social construct and imprint structure. You can psychologically classify and sort.
26:51 Particle accelerator meets gravitational wave detection. Dark energy and gravity.
29:14 As far as Elon look at all his failed projects also. The patients he has. The social cult he accumulated. Cars produced/profit vs. vauation. Having technology that could make his cars better, but both using it.
34:54 bioalgorthms and loops with input in a weighted mesh.
Abundance for some. Natural imbalances show over time.

You are probably young so this view is reasonable. But step back and see where we have come from over the last 100 years: my parents were born at the start of the Great Depression. The sense of scarcity meant fear of leaving a light on due to the cost. You probably don't worry about walking out of a room leaving a light on. That was utter luxury more than 100 years ago. You think poor Americans are oppressed. If they are they are oppressed while living better and eating better than a mediaeval queen in terms of choice of food, availability of clean drinking water, safety in giving birth to a child, raising a child without having to fear that they are likely to die before they reach adulthood. For the last 5000 years humans have been living better and better: not just the richest but also the poorest and that's especially true for the last 100 years. Check out Steven Pinker's Beter angels book for stats on the reduction of violence over that long arc of history.

@ Really amazing. It seems almost too good to be true. He gives off Joe Dispensa vibes somehow. Maybe because he talks about such big things with such confidence it feels off. But the guy is fantastic and has done so many amazing things. I'm making my way through his content now trying to catch up.
