Whats time the last train and bus? For singapore to johor bahru
Thank you so much!
You're welcome, and thank you for watching! 🙂
So better we stay in Johor Bahru and then visit Singapore right? I looking for an hotel or appartment but in airbnb many recommendation in Johor Bahru.
Thank you
You're welcome! 😊
If I'm a foreign national crossing, i assume it would be better to be there much earlier coz we might need to go thru immigration. You think it would be long? Also does the bus from Woodlands accept any debit card either Visa or Mastercard? Thank you!
Hi, Anna. I'm assuming that as long as you have a biometric passport, you can go through immigration with no problem, but sure, it's always wise to arrive early in case there's anything wrong. And yes, buses in Singapore generally accept contactless debit cards.
Thanks for your sharing. Can I ask how do I get to JB Sentral from Senai Airport?
According to the airport website www.senaiairport.com/to-from-the-airport/by-bus there is a shuttle bus between the airport and JB Sentral. You can check the schedule on Causeway Link website.
Hi, thanks for your very informative vid. Do you know how long it takes for the checkpoint/immigration on both from JB - Singapore and Singapore - JB? I need to buy the shuttle ticket to match accordingly with my KTM ticket back to Gemas 😢
Hi, Hafizah. In my experience, it didn't take too long, about 15 minutes max. Do note that I usually go in low season. Not sure if it gets a lot busier on weekends or public holidays.
Hi! We are gonna go to JB from Singapore this April. Are there enough spaces for luggage? Or would it be better to take a bus? Thanks.
Personally, I think the train is more spacious and comfortable than shuttle buses. We saw a lot of people bringing luggage on the train. And since everyone has to book a seat, there is no standing passenger, hence no issue of overcrowding.
I have a Philippine passport, and I am planning to go to Singapore, can I stay in Johor Bahru (assuming that accomodations will be cheaper) and then just go to Singapore on a daily basis during my let's say 4-5day stay?
Hi, technically I don't think there should be a problem. But I'm not sure if there's a limit as to how many times a person can enter and leave a country within a certain period. Perhaps you will need to have all supporting documents ready (hotel reservations, tour bookings, etc) in case it raises suspicion. But to be absolutely certain, it's best to check with the Malaysian and Singapore embassies in your country.
My train tiket time from jbc to singpore 7.00am(malaysia time)
And my tiket back frm singpore to jbc 9.00pm...with time we follow...malaysia or singapore time
Hi, there's no time difference between Singapore and Malaysia. 🙂
Hi may i know can i buy bus ticket from woodland train point to woodland mrt advance at jb sentral? Or only buy at singapore?
Hi, I don't think you can buy in advance. People just hop on and pay on board.
Hi.. we are gonna go to changi airport singapore from Johor Bahru this june. We travel with 3yo kid. Would you to recommend us what transport we should use? I check on google so many private car transport, but do you have one is trusted? Because its my first time
Hi, I don't have any contact for a private car unfortunately, but public transports in Singapore are super clean, modern, and organized, taking a toddler with you should be very doable even with strollers and all. However, if it's still too much hassle, you can always get a taxi or Grab to the airport. To cross the border, I personally think the train is the best option as long as you book tickets in advance.
Hye, cn i ask..after arrve at woodland, wht things wnt to do? Need to cop passport?
Hi, as mentioned in the video, your passport won't be stamped. You'll only need to go through the automatic gates. But i guess this depends on your nationality.
Thanks for your video. Meaning by train to Spore, I as a Msian, no need to fill up the digital form (like embarkation card) online right?
Oh, we did actually. Sorry, I should have put that in the video 🙏🏽
@UmmiGoesWhere
I got you now.
Long time do not travel to Sg, thanks again.
@@jeslynkok you're welcome, and enjoy your trip!
Hi sister I am planning to go to Singapore next month for my relative house warming HDB Flat and this is second visit to Singapore after 10 years. I have three questions. My 1st question is do I have to go to the Singapore Immigration Counter for stamping or am I allowed to use the autogate. The second question what kind of questions usually immigration officers used to ask for Malaysian passport holders. My last question is how much money should I must have to enter into Singapore does the immigration officer will raise it as a issue if amount of money I need to bring didnt fulfill?
Hi, Ramanathan.
1. Yes, you will have to go to the immigration counter in Singapore, but they won't stamp your passport. Basically they will just check your digital arrival card because all the details regarding your stay will be there. So you will need to fill up the online form before you go:
www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/sg-arrival-card
2. They never asked me anything, but have your answers ready anyway, just in case. It's unlikely that they will ask, but typical questions at an immigration counter are: your purpose of visiting, who you're traveling with, how long you're staying, where you're staying, whether you have a return ticket.
3. Nope, never been asked how much money I had with me. In any case, you can just tell them you have a debit/credit card that you will use during your stay.
Hope this helps, and have fun in Singapore!
Based on your experience is the journey child friendly? I have a 2+ year old thinking whether a stroller would be too inconvenient to bring.
Hi, I think it's perfectly doable. There are elevators at the stations, and the trains are spacious enough for strollers. Anyway, the train ride is just 5 minutes and you can easily get a Grab to/from the stations. 🙂
Thanks for the great guidance, one question, is it realistic to commute from jb to sg by train everyday? do we need to purchase the ticket in advance(e.g. 1 week before the actual trip to avoid ticket sold out)?
Hi, it's quite tough to commute by train every day, because like you said, you'll have to book in advance, and to do that, you'll also need to know exactly what times you'll be taking the train. Buses would probably be an easier option.
@@UmmiGoesWhere Thanks for the reply Ummi, I was aiming for bus but just to discover alternatives, since commute by bus during peak hour is quite tough as well, but yea that will be my first option for now, thank you!
@@infteh2543 you're welcome. I've also heard of people crossing the border on foot. It's permissible and can be faster during peak seasons like public holidays when cars are stuck in traffic for hours at the checkpoint. So that's another option to be considered if all else fails. All the best for your trip!
Hi just want to ask why i cannot book for train from kuala lumpor to jb sentral? No option for jb sentral
Hi there, as of now, there are no direct trains from Kuala Lumpur to JB Sentral or vice versa. You have to change trains at Gemas station. Please refer to their official website for more info: www.ktmb.com.my/intercity-routes-map.html
Hai...i will visiting our relative..and can we bring some goodis...example foods..its here any cheking kastam.
Yes, your bags will need to go through customs screening, but you're allowed to bring food as long as they are in 'small, reasonable quantities'. For more details, please refer to this page: www.sfa.gov.sg/food-import-export/bringing-food-for-personal-use
Hi, where to purchase the ezlink card (tourist pass) version?
Hi, Amelia. You may check the locations here:

💗💚💙🧚♀️🌟
Thank you for watching 🙂
I plan to go there .. can I use ambank debit card to pay the bus fare ?
Can u please share me the KTM link to purchase the shuttle train ticket ?
Yes, you should be able to use your Ambank debit card. Just make sure you activate it first for overseas use. This can usually be done online or at the ATM (or you can contact your bank for further assistance). Link for the shuttle train ticket: shuttleonline.ktmb.com.my/Home/Shuttle
tq
Hey, you're welcome! 🙂
If i go with my friend but i bought them the tickets for train how they gonna scan their passport ?
When you buy the tickets, you will need to enter your friends' passport details. Then when it's boarding time, they can straight away use their passports to enter the gate as the passports have already been linked to the tickets.
Hi, are there any restrictions for foreigners travelling (from SEA) to use this train?
Nope, no restrictions. It's for everyone, as long as you have valid travel documents that meet both countries' requirements.
Seems stays in Malaysia is waaaay cheaper than in SG. Would you recommend for tourists to just stay in MY near the train station and just visit SG everyday via train or the daily hassle is not worth it? Thanks for the response :)
Hello, is there an exchange office inside the train station or somewhere close? I want to pay cash for the bus but need to exchange from RM or USD
Hi there, I can't remember if I saw any in the Singapore station, but there's definitely one in JB Sentral.
@@UmmiGoesWhere Alright thank you 👍🏻
Do you know if there is any other option from train to the MRT station (example: uber, grab, taxi)?
Hi, Nur Afiqah. Yah, you can get Grab pretty much anywhere in Singapore. Didn't see any taxis when I was there, but there must be.
How many times a day can we travel between Jb and Singapore
Typically, regular commuters only make two border crossings per day, from JB to Singapore and back or vice versa. Not sure if there is a limit to how many times you can cross per day though. Best check with the immigration officer or a Singaporean/Malaysian embassy in your area.
Hi is it the station is open for 24 hours?
Hi, you mean JB Sentral? According to Google, it's open 24 hours.
Jb to Singapore to jb can we buy 2 way ticket? How much in myr?
Hi, yes you can. The fare is MYR5/person/way.
Ok so how much they hassle you in immigration ask you a million questions and force you to spit out your gum
What about as Foreigner if you want stay less than 24 hours in Singapore and go same day back to Johar Bahur / Malaysia back its no Problem..?
I guess as Foreigner the Arrival Card for Singapore is nessesary to fill out yes..
But what i dont understand is, to fill out this Arrival Card for Singapore 3 days befor or within 3 days go to Singapore?
I Planing to go soon to Singapore by train..
Hi, Daniel. You have to fill out the arrival card for Singapore 3 days *before* arrival, otherwise you may be denied entry.
I don't think there should be a problem if you go for less than 24 hours and return on the same day to Malaysia. But I guess this also depends on how long you have stayed in Malaysia before that. Are you planning to do a visa run to Singapore? If so, perhaps this forum can give you some insight:
www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=988896
@@UmmiGoesWhere Thx for the Answer. No Visa Run i will stay in Malaysia and i want visit Singapore..
I think you know that the hotels much expensiv in Singapore than Malaysia
May i know what do you mean using biometriks ? Im from Malaysia (Sarawak)
Hi, Hiang. A biometric passport is a passport embedded with a chip containing biometric information. This allows you to use electronic gates at the border without having to go to an immigration counter. All Malaysian passports should be biometric now. If yours is the one with the hard front cover and a biometric logo on the bottom center, then you're good to go. 🙂
@@UmmiGoesWhere ok.. tq
I am not Singaporean or Malaysian, will my passport get Stamps from both countries through this way???
Hi, Ghazwan. I'm not 100% sure, but if you have a biometric passport, I think you will just go through the automatic gates, no stamps will be given. In any case, there are counters available if you need to get it stamped.
Is there any documents to fill in before entering Singapore?
There was, at the time of my visit. You may refer here for more info: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore/sg-arrival-card
@@UmmiGoesWhere Tq 4 d info
Can local bank (msia) debit card such as maybank used in Singapore?
Yes, but you need to activate it for overseas use. This can be done online or at the ATM before you go.
@@UmmiGoesWhere ok
hello, is the immigration checkpoint inside the train station?
Yup it's all inside the train station, so it's very convenient 🙂
thankyou so much!! 💝@@UmmiGoesWhere
Hi ma'am! how to know the daily schedule of train from jb to sg ma'am
Hi, Jean. You can go to this page
shuttleonline.ktmb.com.my/Home/Shuttle
Insert the date of travel and you can see the schedule for the selected date. 🙂
How to book ticket online mam?
I have a Question.
If you stay less than 48 Hours have to pay 100 SGD at Immigration or how..?
I saw in another Video that its ritten some entry requirements to Singapur maybe only for all other Countrys exept Singapore and Malaysia..?
Sombody know it..?
Oh, I've never heard of that 😯. If you're from an ASEAN country, you don't need to get a visa or pay anything at the immigration. Also true for a lot of other nationalities, I think. But to be sure, better check with them: www.ica.gov.sg/enter-transit-depart/entering-singapore
@@UmmiGoesWhere Thx for the Answer. I will check it.. I will be around End of October or Start November there.. Do you live in Johar Bahur..?
No, I live in Kuala Lumpur, but am traveling abroad at the moment. Have fun in Malaysia & Singapore!
@@UmmiGoesWhere Cool:)
Can you recommend me the the Best Price Phone Provider in Malaysia with 5g and fast Speed around 20 mps or more with 50 GB or more for around 15-20 USD for 30 Days.
And by the way you know a Nice modern Duplex Condo in or near KLCC for around 3000 RM for 1 Month.?
Do you know what are the requirements for minor without parents, foreigner?
but have guardian
Hi, Ramirez. I may be wrong, but I don't think there should be any problem if the minor is traveling with a guardian. However, it's best to check with the embassies to be completely sure.
@@UmmiGoesWhere can I ask on how do I do that?
You can google "Singaporean or Malaysian embassy in [your country]", get their contact details, and ask them directly through email or phone call.
Indians need singapore visa travel by trian
Hi, yes, I think Indian nationals need a visa to enter Singapore. Please refer here www.mfa.gov.sg/Overseas-Mission/Mumbai/Consular-Services/Visa-Information
Hi Madam, I'm from the UK, so thank you for your informative video. Just a quick message to say that I've watched another video on YT about an Australian couple who had trouble finding the shuttle/train departure at JB Sentral and I think they eventually had to catch a bus: th-cam.com/video/TmJPcCerMPg/w-d-xo.html I was wondering if you could advise where they went wrong and if what they say about it not being obvious to find the train is correct? Thank you in advance.
