You don’t have to destroy a Pearl to find out if it’s real. All you have to do is gently rub the Pearl against your tooth. If it feels grainy or like sand paper, then you know it’s real!
also, real pearls when strung, have knots in the silk between each bead to keep them from rubbing together and becoming damaged. fake pearls can have this too, but not always.
Please note that by any standard the expensive "saltwater pearls" like Tahitian, South Sea, or "Japanese Akoya" are fake. They are a big bead with a thin coating of natural nacre and plenty of surface treatments.
Or you could just rub them on your teeth. If they feel smooth they are fake, feel scratchy and gritty and they are real. Saves on the oil and doesn't harm the pearls!
I forgot to take off my pearl earrings before diving into a chlorinated pool, they turned green. Do you know if I can clean off that surface color change?

So I need to put my necklace to a vinegar or beat it with a hammer Hm.... Interesting . Now I lost it and cannot afford another real one...lets go and buy the fake one for a NEW YEAR EVE 😁
I wet my fingertip with water then place a small drop onto the pearl. The coarse texture of a real pearl results in a perfectly round droplet. If the droplet is misshapen the pearl is fake.
with that hammer...must lay, all 50-so call pearls in a row...now with the hammer, hit one at a time all 50, at the end if all still looks the same crushed...yes, they were once Real Pearls...Best method for 2024...
Ummmm... Interesting and informative video. I enjoyed it very much. But... the reason I watched it is because of the Closed Captioning. As I was zipping past I read "During my trip to fuok an island in Vietnam..." and I had to watch the video to see what was *actually* going on!
🌸 Rub it against your teeth If it flakes off, it’s faked If it doesn’t damage it’s real or cultured Do not put real Pearl in vinegar If you bought it cheap, yip it’s fake 😂
Oh for goodness sake, what a lot of nonsense. If you rub real pearls on your front teeth it’s like using sand paper on them, fake pearls are smooth, that’s it in a nutshell.
What’s with the ridiculous sound effects? Your information is really interesting but those clicks and bangs spoil the whole experience and make it so hard to concentrate. Get rid of them …please.
You're relieved they're real, now you destroyed them. Good Job, makes total sense.
A better system: if your mother sleeps w/ granny' necklace...does not mean a wild night...the pearls are natural!
GENIUS!!!
OH MY GOD MY PEARL IS REAL
WOAH
AY AY AY AY
Vinegar? Muriatic acid?
Just one? ...where is it?

The simplest but most effective way to test them
Ruining pearls makes the jeweler upset
same with diamonds if its truly flawless its manufactured, natural diamonds always have flaws and inclusions and thats how you know they are natural.
Maybe You know some movies about it? Would be great to know also some things about diamond
Really Creative Content, keep the great work.

So happy to find this. Thank you.
- Glad you tested this && waisted your money so I didn't have to.
Tested with his waist line? 😂
You can always rub the pearl against your teeth. A true pearl is gritty. A fake one is smooth!
Bite. Pearl has softer density than glass pearls.

Interesting content, thank you so much!
🌸 A real Pearl is more expensive than diamond 💍
Just so you know before destroying them
Why would you damage or destroy a pearl to 'prove' it's real??
What’s the point 4:50
The thumbnail being a hammer mid swing is funny to me
Why could you not take a microscope and look through the drill hole to see the layers to verify a real pearl instead of smashing or ruining them?
After the previous video I'm never getting a pearl.
- Why not?
@@blessedbeauty2293because they are created to trap parasites and other organic stuff inside the pearl

If I want to make that all before buying, the seller would kill me, if the pearls are not fake😅

If you can't tell the difference without such tests, then why does it matter?
I WENT THERE ON MY LAST DAY AT MY TRIP TO PHU QUOC!
Where are youre missing 47 video ?

...or, just use a drop of vinegar on a pearl close to the clasp? 😅 Shell pearls will not react.

Do not put real Pearl in vinegar
If you bought it cheap, yip it’s fake 😂
Skousnu-li pravou perlu mezi předními zuby, ucítím drobné nerovnosti povrchu. Trvá to jednu až dvě vteřiny a nemusím perlu nijak ničit.
Should have given those pearls for sebastian to wear.
Mine are all fake
1 test on tooth ...2 Qtip in gasoline to end pearl one dot will take of fake finish!
6m54s to show if your pearl is real in 3 seconds. Oi??

To hell with so-called real pearls. They're nothing but cruelty to a species. Absolutely disgusting.😢
Pearl is ugly a simbol of sadness
Pearls are old people jewelry.
