@@ournextchapter5233 hope my elderly parents love it. This will be our first time stay in batu feringghi. Usually we staying at Eastern & Oriental in Georgetown for few times .the breakfast was superb and the room is very colonial style. They also provide evening canapes for thise who stay at Heritage wing but have to pay for evening tea set.
@@akayem550 Yes I think your parents will love it because it is so peaceful and beautiful. We have visited the Eastern & Oriental in Georgetown and loved that is was right on the ocean but we decided to stay in the Granite hotel across the street from the Komtar building and we found that it was better for our needs being centrally located in Georgetown which was near so many restaurants and within in walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. We loved Georgetown so much especially going to the Shangri la resort. My only regret was not taking a trip over to Langkawi Island everyone said we must go visit. I hope to one day. Did you prefer the spice garden for breakfast over the ferringhi grill, Can you have seconds in the ferringhi grill since its a la carte. Thanks again. Ian
Thanks Ian, My wife and I agree we like the spice market café better for breakfast there is such a bigger selection, but the ala carte was not bad and yes you definitely can have seconds of whatever you like. This hotel was like taking a vacation from our vacation lol. It was so relaxing grabbing a lounge chair everyday under the trees and being right on the beach then going for a swim in the afternoon right before high tea which was a very special time for my wife and I. You are going to love this resort and yes we did have the rasa deluxe room which was amazing. Also just a side note my wife really enjoyed being on the ground floor. Penang on the other hand has stayed much the same and it reminds me of my Singapore. Ive been 9 times and my wife 4.
@@iankohlhoff8407 yes my friend it was our first time and we loved it so much we would definitely come back again for the atmosphere, food, friendly people and small town feel. It seems nothing ever stays the same unfortunately sometimes for the better and sometimes not but this was one of our favorite destinations and the funny thing is it was not on our original itinerary but after visiting Singapore it was to close we just had to visit. thanks again.
