I am a Penangite living in Kuta, Bali for more than a year. I already decided to move back to Penang bcoz I miss the lifestyle & the food there. Well Penang, here I come.
Another awesome video on my favorite place in Malayia. I've only been back in the Bay Area for a month, but I already miss the vibe of the island. Penang is way underrated!!!!!
I am a 70 year old Brit lady born in Penang. My sister and I went to school up the Hill. My father was a rubber planter and we lived in Johore. Now live in the States. We have so many happy memories. Enjoy every minute
Welcome Back! Do not miss the light up period of Kek Lok Si as they usher Lunar New Year. Hopefully, year of the Dragon makes it even more beautifully lit up n decorated.
Definitely at the right place right time. Massive CNY celebration will be held in Penang each year especially on the 8th Day of the CNY which is on 17/2
Fabulous...this is where I get nostalgic, it was much more quaint when I lived there as a child in the 70's, not too many big buildings like now. There used to be a fabulous Chinese restaurant called Seaview restaurant, it was a real family treat when my late parents took us out for dinner there.
Welcome back. Missed you. Please be careful swimming in batu Ferringgi my friends daughter from uk got attacked by jelly fish in December and had to cut short their holidays
@@TheHutchinsons Thank you, we love your Vlogs! We have been watching your Vlogs from Canada and we are finally in Penang for a few days, heading back to KL this Thursday ❤️
Hi watched a couple vlogger from Australia give a very harsh view about Penang, being dirty, the people are cold, and building are rundown.. Yet they were praising Cambodia as the best place in South East Asia.
Hey I would LOVE to know how accessible are plant based food options in Malaysia please? Does anyone know? I'm making the move from UK to Malaysia so would love to know thank you in advance ❤❤

The 2024 Miao Hui (Temple Fairs) celebration will take place on Feb 18, 2024 on the ninth day of the Chinese lunar calendar at the heritage precinct of George Town from 4pm to 11pm. Apart from showcasing the customs or cultural practices we inherited from our forefathers, the public will also get to appreciate the stories behind the occupations or industries pioneered by them at the time when they first arrived in Penang.
The theme for the 2024 Miao Hui celebration is “Our Story,” an intentional focus on preserving the cultural and industrial history established by Penang’s forebears. The aim is to provide an opportunity for people to understand and appreciate the groundwork laid by earlier generations. This theme will help attendees reconnect with the unforgettable and beautiful memories of Penang’s past, fostering a collective resonance.
Oh No, you miss out #6, Penang Hill UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. My favourite green lung of Penang, where you can see many beautiful animal, birds and plants in Penang, it's the second UNESCO accolades in Penang.
Hello I'm now in Penang and I can't understand why some people love that much this island. There are some nice places but nothing exceptionnal if we compare with similar places in Thaïland, Indonesia, Sri Lanka etc. We have heard about "the pearl of Asia" in some videos like yours and thought we'll see something amazing... I am very disappointed with what I found.

If you wanna introduce the beauty of Indonesia to others, first and foremost, never belittle other country. Put your words gently, nicely and attractively. Do not paint bad pictures of others for your motives. I have been to a few places in Indonesia and yes, I did enjoy those places. Every country has its beauty.
Why Malangsila 8:46 ??? Those toxic Comments are too much and rude ..And will show outsiders How Bad Indonesia Behavior and this Family have their own Right to choose Which country to stay and be happy to stay..
