Welcome to the Upcycle Design Lab. I craft with recycled, repurposed, and unwanted materials. There is a lot of experimenting with trash and recyclables to make them "new" again. If you enjoy reusing, repairing, and re-imagining old items, I hope you will stick around and check out some of my other Upcycling tutorials and join those of us who are rethinking the things we throw away.

Your craft ideas are genius. Even if they don't sell at Christmas, they can be sold year round for decor for someone with great imagination.👍

i like the bracelets, but the packaging i doesn’t display them well. Try placing them on a velvet bracelet stand. Your glass earrings are so pretty, but the black earring card just doesn’t display them well. Maybe. insider a light colored card.

I think the fused glass pendant paired with the aluminum can beads would make great suncatchers or ornaments!

All of your pieces are beautiful! I'm not a fan of all the plastic packaging/wrappers, I'm a very tactile person and I like to be able to touch the pieces. Shows are tough, I used to do them years ago, the hits were always the things I least expected to sell, you never know.

Thank you for sharing this. I love your dragonflies and the hammered leaf ĵewellery. I find people are often intrigued by paper beads but I think have only sold 1 in a few years at fairs.

Love the content - information like this is always great to disseminate to help others. One suggestion I would have is for videos like this please mix them down in mono sound before posting to youtube - it's a very small thing but it makes a huge difference as to how easy it is to understand what you are saying so the sound isn't traveling across channels as you move around.

I live in a small community. I had a table this year (2023) and last year at our Holiday Bazaar several days ago (December.) I noticed a huge difference in sales. People are being more thrifty, for sure. Most of these cutesy things would not have sold.

Drive by comment. Found your video accidentally. My shopper experience for the first few items. I understand that you upcycle, but the packaging was not eye catching, I would have not looked at them at all. The black card stock might be part of your branding, but it does not compliment a lot of your pieces. It deadens the appeal of the glass jewelry. Consider looking at the paper bead earrings on a teal/blue cardstock. The wreathes are genius. I love how quirky they are. The snowmen look like seagulls to me. Do with that what you will. LOL. The Christmas trees would sell if you get the fairy lights (USB) from the Dollar store and light them up. They are cool probably be able to sell them for $18 or more. The glass ornaments lit up at your table would shine and sparkle - people would understand their beauty with light behind them - they are beautiful - I dig them. The little critters can be a part of your gardening section - pop on a fake plant or fake tree. Maybe wear a few on your body at the show. thanks for the share. I love your upcycle ideas.

I think kirigami style trees from drink cans would likely do well, use some small aluminum can beads on them and fringe up a shiny snack bag for garland. Maybe do the tiered lid version for a jewelry hanger, or do layered flowers with the lids instead. Add fairy lights maybe?

Your jewelry is so unique and an expression of creativity. However after your review of the jewelry that didn't sell...... unfortunately much of the younger generations are "fadd-ish" aka follow the trends versus having their own expressions of genuine uniqueness. It's funny in a strange way.... But once a shallow type "k.kardiashian" type celebrity begins wearing jewelry of this type, they will follow the fad and sell-sell-sell. So what's not selling today may sell tomorrow. I personally love your creativity. Hold onto it and it will sell .... Don't undersell your talent. It's beautiful....

I think your items are priced too high , in the U.K. we wouldn’t be able to sell things at those prices .
