I spent seven days at the Hyatt Zilara . This resort is amazing and I would consider this a five star resort. The food the drinks everything was amazing. The Jamaican people are some of the nicest people in the whole world. I’ve been to several Caribbean islands, and The people of Jamaica are honest and sincere, and they are definitely the most friendliest people in the Caribbean. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone. You definitely want to go there in the winter months with temperatures in the low 80s with a cold breeze from the north east every day and especially in the early evening. Now I’m back in the frozen tundra of the Northeast and I am home sick for Jamaica . 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

My wife and I just got back from there last week. The food was awesome and customer service was great. We were there Dec 18-22, 2023. Weather could have been better, 83 everyday but windy, 15-25mph. The place is beautiful. Our favorite restaurants were Fusion (Asian) and the French restaurant.

We stayed at Ziva Los Cabos in February this year. Everything was amazing. We will be staying at Zilara Rose Hall June 2024. The resort looks beautiful and we will also be staying in a one bedroom swim up suite. We can’t wait!

We stayed at Hyatt Zilara Punta Cana last year and there was a "club upgrade" for private pool access and top-shelf liquor. Is Jamaica similar (apologies if I missed it in the video). Great job BTW!

My pleasure! I wouldn’t really consider it a party resort but there is definitely entertainment and nightly shows and also more quiet places. Check out Moon Palace resort that I just posted if you are looking for more of a club vibe

Hey Brandy, no unfortunately the pool rooms don’t connect to the main pool. The main pool has a swim up bar though ☺️
How did reservations work?
Hello,My husband and I are planning our 3yr wedding anniversary in July and we are considering going to Jamaica. We have been researching resorts and it seems Hyatt Zilara and Breathless are the main ones people rave about. We also realized that Breathless is actually more expensive than the other resorts. The most important thing for us on this trip is to find a place with breathtaking grounds, excellent food (in abundance with different varieties), and great nightlife. I am not a club person but at least a lounge or something with great music. Do you think breathless checks the box and is it worth the price. What other resorts in Jamaica would you recommend. Do you have any other recommendations for us whether it's Cancun or any place you visited that you enjoyed? Thank you so much.
Hey Shilla! I actually tried going to Breathless as well but it was totally booked for the dates I wanted. Based on pictures/videos, it seems pretty good. I will always recommend Hyatt and Excellence Oyster Bay. I do have a review of Excellence on the channel as well if you want to check it out. Other great options are Moon Palace & Jewel Grande.

Absolutely! Hyatt would be a great location for celebrating your anniversary. Another amazing option is Excellence Oyster Bay. I have a review featuring that resort as well if you’re interested in checking it out!

Hey Whitney! Taking into consideration the entire property, I would say Excellence is bigger. If you are planning to upgrade to the excellence club that would also give you access to more resorts and bars (for more things to do)
BUT, not to cause more confusion, but I just posted a video on Moon Palace, I think that resort wins in terms of entertainment. Check it out and see what you think.
Also, just a little tip, whenever you can’t decide, remind yourself that you have a beautiful life ahead and will ultimately go to both places, it’s just a matter of which one you prefer to go to FIRST. That always makes it easier 🥰❤️

Would you say this resort is more chill and laid back or lively and have lots of entertainment ?
To be honest, both. The property is huge so there are areas that are more laid back and quiet & also lots of entertainment options especially by the Rosehall Village.

So I will be traveling to Jamaica next May along with my mother and niece (so 3 of us in a room) and we're desperately trying to decide between Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall and Excellence Oyster Bay (I've seen your video on that resort as well :) We are TRAUMATIZED by the food experience we had in the DR at a major resort and want to ensure that we'll have excellent food this go round. Just so you know we can't take advantage of Excellence Club at Excellence Oyster Bay because there are 3 of us in 1 room. So which would you recommend? Do you think we'll really be missing out if we don't experience Excellence Club? Any help you can provide would be SO appreciated.
Hey!! This is honestly a hard one. Overall I would say I preferred Excellence but I do feel like the excellence club is maybe what elevated the experience. The food at Hyatt was better though so might be better after such a bad experience in DR.
How old is your niece? Excellence is adults only so everyone has to be over 18.
Hey Nia! Thanks SO MUCH for replying to me, you're AWESOME! Girl thankfully she's 25 lol, so no worries there. We're definitely going to go with Hyatt Zilara. While Excellence allows 3 people in a room, they don't offer rollaway beds, so 2 of us would have to share a bed and we're missing out on Excellence Club, so Zilara it is! Thanks again Nia!!!! 🤗

Hey! Some require a reservation and some don’t. I know for sure the French restaurant required a reservation

Yes all inclusive, food and drinks were included. Only thing extra is the spa and gift shop! ☺️

Hey, it wasn’t deep, I would say about 3ft
