Great video, now you have me wanting to put a winch on my Freelander 2. Just for future reference your using your opened wrench backwards when you tighten your bolts
Bring on pt2, just wondering if you've removed the swirl flaps of death from the inlet, I did mine bout 2 weeks ago when I replaced glow plugs improved the MPG on weekly work run. the oil catch can and bracket are essential buy for this vehicle, keep up the good work.
see you use a jigsaw in pt 2, should have used a multi tool for cutting the bumper you get a better cut. I've used it for cutting out for the driving and fog light upgrade also used it for cutting dash to put switch in.
I’m working on it Mark. Editing the footage as we speak. The problem I have is that I need to show a “coming up in part 3” teaser at the end and I’ve not filmed part 3 yet so I don’t have any footage to use for that yet. Will hopefully drop Part 2 this coming weekend.
I would have informed the manufacturer of your fitting Issues. They possibly have had feedback from buyers over similar issues and come up with a work around to follow. You bought the Item in good faith, in that it would fit, connect and work. You have paid for the Item. But it's costing you more expense to adapt ?? See you in the next one. 👍👍

Interesting. First I’ve heard about a right and wrong way to use a spanner. I need to watch my own video now to see what you mean.
I also have an LR-FL2 Bj. 2010. Thanks for the top explanation! My question, where can I get this mounting plate for the cable winch? LG Erich

Are you talking about the winch relay box? That would normally locate on top of the winch.
👍👍👍 waiting on pt2, can't wait to see how you finish this.
