I was concern if it was ok to clean and reuse the bearings, they looked perfect but with a lot of old grease. Thanks to this video I cleaned them and regrease them!
I picked up a used 2018 and didn’t think to grease the stem bearings. 6 months later they locked up on me. Would never have believed it until it happened. The upper bearing was fine but the lower bearing race cage broke from no grease. I can only guess they barely put any grease during the original assembly.

I used WD-40 it seemed to work great!
I can’t get the collar off to get the bottom triple clamp off any help is appreciated
I guess there's no torque spec or anything? Just tighten the lock collar up and call it a day
