William gave my son his Scally cap. I did not know where it came from, but he said William gave it to him. He did a skit with the seminary boys a few years back. Those were some fun times and a great group of boys.

Overall pleased with week 1 of Trump back in the White House. However, I would rather not acquire Greenland or rename the Gulf of Mexica. Extremely low priorities and we need to fix the problems in our existing territory before even thinking about acquiring new land.
Abortion goes against the Right to life. Not sure why it is considered a state issue... Calling it a state issue seems to undermind the fact that it is murder and seems to say that the ends (less abortions... Which is good) justify the means (saying it's not a matter of murder, that the ends justify the means, etc... All had)...
Foreign aid is a means of coercion of nations. And this is important for evil US corpoations. On the other hand, nations have a duty to assist in the defense of a nation that is defending against unjust aggression. With regards to Ukraine, US troops makes the most sense.
Do nations have that duty? Maybe when once there was a Christendom and a Catholic country was under attach from Islam or something similar...but I certainly don't think of Ukraine as a country that we are required to defend. It is maybe sad what is happening and very much not our problem.
@kevingillikin5264 I'll have to look it up, but Pope Pius XII wrote something about this. Basically, peace is a natural right, so there is a duty of others to help defend it. The kind of attitude now being pushed would have let Hitler win WWII.
