I’ve had a few battles with these over the years when they don’t want to come undone 😅 The exhaust temperature sensors like to fail aswell which is also £££ from Lamborghini.
Good video anytime we can avoid paying lamborghini's stupid prices for common parts and materials is a great day. I'm sure you are aware of the exhaust clamps available from the UK that are way better made and a fraction of the price when installing cats or pipes
I've been lucky enough to be able to re-use all of mine so far (did have to drill one stud out though). Who makes those, for future reference/inclusion?
@@Birdhouseboi810 Lol, yeah, you have a point. In my defense, I hadn't tested the flaring tool so considered there was a non-zero chance I'd need to reinstall temporarily while figuring out a Plan B 😅
I believe they already upgraded these on the 2008 model. If not, I am going to replace mine when I do the LARINI exhaust and cats. Trying to hold off till I do the clutch. Other than that, I see you are still running BLACK wheels. How ordinary. LOL
@@PatrickMichael2002 😛 The wheels are factory Apollos that came to me black but I had them powder coated to approximate the OE "titanium" color. I never bought into the black wheel thing.

@@KarlTrevett01 Yeah, hoping to avoid the latter but still chasing some weird behavior (unrelated to these tubes/sensors)

Quick hack: cut off the the tube and use a socket when removing the nut from the catalytic converter. Since you won’t be reusing the misfire tube.

@ we just done it a lot on brake line fittings when I used to work on cars all the time. I’ve done alot of brake lines. And I hated it. Lol
