You’re right about deburring the plastic. Did that on my NS892. My G660 pro doesn’t get used as much, mainly because it’s so pretty. Don’t want to screw it up. Enjoy running both. They pull 32” and 36” bars with ease.
I just recently received my neotec farmmac 660. Runs amazing. Ran into some issues though. From the start I noticed the clutch drum didn’t seem to spin very freely. Also the chain would get tight and loose as you rotated it by hand. The rim sprocket I believe isn’t centered perfectly on drum. Fast forward to the other day my 2nd time running the saw. The chain would rotate as I pulled the starter rope. I thought it was a clutch issue. Turns out the worm gear finger that sits in the groove of the drum seems to sit out too far out so when the drum pushes against it, it causes binding where the worm gear bushing rides on crank, along with that area being dry causing excessive drag. So it’s making the crank try to spin the drum. I greased the worm gear bushing it seemed to help a little. But still have the issue of the clutch drum or something out of center causing the chain tension to go nuts. Neotec rep on the Facebook group reached out and they will be sending me a replacement out asap. Really happy with their customer service and I’m sure they will make this right
Yes, that's my favorite part about Neo-tec... there customer support is awesome! I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with the 660. That's bad luck... iv had about 30 come through my shop so far with only needing fine tuning. The 6 I have for personal have ran out awesome! Iv only ran them for falling and bucking... and cookie 🍪 cutting, lol I'm building a Neo-tec now for milling,so we will see how they hold up under harsh conditions over long-term use! Thanks for watching 👀 sir
