My Thoughts On Black Ops 6 Multiplayer - My First COD Since 2013

- My thoughts on cod black ops 6 after playing it for a week now. This is also my first COD since cod ghosts so I've been out of the loop. I'm pretty bad at this game so take what I say with a grain of salt!
This is spot on 👍
I miss the old days of cod and battlefield where goofy adhd maxxing wasn't the center focus and instead was about contributing to the team to win
So from somebody who has played every cod with the exception of AW, and MW3(2023) I can tell you that this is indeed one of the fastest CODs to date with an incredibly fast TTK for practically EVERY gun. However since you have been away for so long I can tell you that although its fast the last 4 CODs have also been fast. I still agree this is probably the fastest most hectic feeling one. At times it almost feels like an arena shooter with how comically fast everyone dies and respawns especially in that one small apartment map.
CW TTK was slow
@ compared to the recent cods sure but not compared to old cods. Which is what OP said his last experiences were from.
Not gonna lie this is a very spot on review and actually the same experience and thoughts I had. Hardcore feels so much better than Core. Biggest problem though is probably that I am getting old (played everything from cod 1 to bo2 actually and then only returned now) and my tracking is not very good all together when the game is so damn fast, so getting a single bullet to hit is easier than 4 or 5. Also aim assist feels like such a big issue in Core, as a very casual player on keyboard & mouse I feel like getting destroyed by controller players on any platform, where their tracking is like an aimbot.
We getting old 🤣 Yeah first couple days after I returned to COD I was like damn everybody's gotten so good and I've been getting destroyed. I also tested controller and it definitely helps with the aim assist. Since I started playing hardcore though i went back to kb/m for the quicker aim
Same but OG mw to bo1 were my first games. I agree it can be fast paced but there's always a way to catch up it's like practicing your reflexes, it helps. It works for me when I feel slow I start practicing. And I end up catching up to people's skill or higher
Excellent review partly because you are reviewing with no bias from previous COD titles since Ghosts. As a result its actually genuine. Great video
I’ve had to adjust to this game myself. Aiming is harder on this COD and I pre aim a lot more than before because most likely someone’s already around the corner.
Same bro got the game like a week ago haven’t played a cod since the one cod with the no russian mission, and i just run around like a maniac and knife people finding it way more effective then using the guns and more funny to 😂😂
Maybe it's my connection, but I'm still getting 2-3 and sometimes 4 hit markers on hardcore. That's if the rounds even register. It kinda ruins the fun.
Desync is brutal in this game, I swear they had better netcode in the 360 era.
great vid, reminiscent of old school cod commentaries
Accurate. My least favorite spawn is in between two lines of fire from opposite directions, riddling my body with bullets....
It's now basically a shop with a mediocre shooter added on top.
This is my actual first cod besides grazing a little bit of advanced warfares campaign and watching people play a little bit. I will say, this style of fps is very fun. I was never allowed to play cod at an early age and then just started to think it was dumb. I was convinced by my friends to get it and am really enjoying it as my first cod.
I mainly got this game to play with my friends as well. Playing in a party is very nice, brings me back to 2011-2015 when I used to game a lot more haha
have you tried the gunfight gamemode? it’s one of my favourite things to play in the more recent cods with my friend
The spawns in this game can be pretty atrocious sometimes but saying “spawns switch every 30 seconds” isn’t the devs fault. Spawn sides are pretty easy to control once you learn how they work on a specific map using nuketown for example. If you have a bad team that fully rushes the other teams spawn so they can try to spawn trap of course they’re going to switch you just need a team that knows how to balance the spawn points between keeping your spawn side and diving into the enemies to get a few kills. I mean spawn trapping and spawn control has been in every single call of duty so it’s not new🤷♂️. On the other hand, every now and then I do get spawned into enemy gunfire which is far from fun😂
Ive got about 25 hrs in the game at this point, just hit prestige 2. I havent enjoyed a cod since BO3, before tbe loot box thing. Im having a lot of fun with this one. I like the movement, i agree it could use use better medium-large maps, and the face off maps are crazy. But lets be honest, shipment has never been a well balanced map, its just chaos. They just went a lot harder on those kinds of maps this game (arguably because people love the faceoff/shipment brainrot 24/7 playlists). I find its got just enough variety in pace to keep me playing.
I also dont hate the spawns, generally. Tbh, as a classic cod player, thats been one of my biggest problem with modern mw cods is the spawn logic. I find the spawns in this game are usually quite predicatable. Especially on the more medium and large maps. To me they feel like the old spawn system its just coping with the increased pace
My experience is that most of the maps are far too small for the speed of the players, there's also way too many lanes that when combined with the schizophrenic spawns and insane speed leads to you just dying constantly and often unfairly as an enemy will spawn right behind you as you're reloading, reloads are also something I feel are far too slow for such a fast paced game.
If they bring Omni-movement forward into future games, I hope they drastically tune down the omni-movement so it's not a tweaker royale, makes slides slower, make jumps slow down movement speed more, add a cooldown to slide/dive so you can only do it after sprinting for so long and for the love of god remove tactical sprint as so many abuse the auto tac sprint option to slide everywhere super fast.
In fact I'd be happy if they did away with all of that and just kept the sideways and backwards sprinting.
Yeah the movement is too fast for the maps and spawns to handle. I swear 50% of the time I use an RCXD or even an archangel I get killed in the process. There's no safe period even in your own spawn
tfym you play it casual? thats some pretty decent gameplay! btw what dpi are are you on?
Haha i appreciate it yo! My mouse is set to 800dpi but in game the sensitivity is set to 9.05
Idk man, it looks pretty casual to me. He's barely even using omni movement and primarily stays in one area for long periods of time, and just doesn't really look like he's trying to hard, it just looks like he's having fun.
Yee I'm chillin
it is pretty casual though. This is not an insult or anything else, if he enjoys the game as it is good for him, but you can clearly see the sbmm working in all his clips. No one in the lobby is using the omni movement, people move randomly and they try to rush kills by invading the spawns etc etc. As long as he's enjoying his time with the game there's no problem in addressing the fact that it is a casual lobby indeed.
What are your thoughts on SBMM? I play CoD since COD4 and for me the game is almost unplayable because all my lobby’s are filled with sweats. I’m at a 1,3kd so nothing crazy but lobby’s feel like a 2,5-3kd
Oh I didn't even know the matchmaking was skill based. Even on regular lobbies and not ranked play??
@@thekaydubz Once again your absence from the game shows haha get back on the saddle brother! Yes all matchmaking since the MW remaster in 2019 is skill based even on normal core and not league play. Which is why when you go on a win streak as the top player after a few matches the lobbies feel more and more sweaty. Its practically like you get penalized for being good.
@@thekaydubzWow, you really have been gone a long time! Yeah, it’s been a huge controversy for years.
@ all the Lobbys try to make a new Account and play the Game then totally different Game ..
great review 🙏🏻
Crazy how your game looks so much different. Your camera shakes a lot for some reason and the colors are really dull.
I agree with all the points you mentioned. It's just fast paced chaos compared to old COD and the maps are very lackluster.
It has some really good aspects, but as a whole it's definitely a mixed bag.
Does my game look that different?? I'm playing on PC and haven't changed anything, though I believe I'm on the max settings. I also haven't done any post color grading during editing so it's just the raw footage 🤔
There is a setting for screen shake. You can change the colors by setting the color filter to filter 2. It makes the colors way less dull.
You’re used to watching streamers and TH-camrs who increase the contrast on their game and turn off/down the shake settings the most they can
You may have actually enjoyed MWII (2022). It is a much slower paced game.
The maps to me are good if you are playing the mode they are designed around. Also I’m mostly a ranked/ snd player so that factors in. Definitely not great tho, don’t get me wrong. There are 3 I would delete from the game.
If you fart on anyone in hardcore
They die
Hardcore needs more health
And the spawns are complete and utter trash
You can’t even work without worrying somebody is spawn right behind you
Cod4 was so much fun
Cod 2 was the best game
The only thing I can disagree on is the fact you said snipers are good in this game 😂 I’m a really good sniper in CoD in general and this game has the worst snipers in CoD history . They buffed them slightly recently but there’s still some tweaks that can be made to match the speed of the game
I don't think the snipers are good in general but my main point was just that the starter guns seem to work just as well as the guns that you unlock later on in their respective classes. Sniping is definitely difficult in this game for me because of the fast pace
Bro, check out battle royale. It's where the best of the best battle it out. It's super hard, but rewarding when you're the best out of like 100 people per match.
BO6 is #1 without packet burst
People need to stop calling assault rifles AR's!!!!! AR DOES NOT STAND FOR ASSAULT RIFLE. Armalight Rifle semi-automatic only rifle. Assault rifles are capable of full and semi-auto.
Thanks for letting me know
Cod 2 is so good
My childhood! I spent thousands of hours on that game and also cod4
More so black ops 6 got you
It's basically a kids game, designed for instant action - as you say mindless arcade fun. No thinking, tactics, strategy ot anything - just spawn, die, spawn, die, quit. Basically it's CoD for ADHD TikTok kids.
No way you didn’t play bo3
Been out of COD since Ghosts 👻
@@thekaydubzu missed out man
calling cod a mindless/brainless game is fucking insane
It is to me, maybe that means I'm insane 🫢. When I play I'm watching TH-cam vids on the side and I play with barely any volume 🤣. Keep in mind I'm also just playing the regular modes tho, I'm sure in SnD and other modes it requires a lot more teamwork and strategy
@ yea you right it depends how you playing. Playing comp 8s or ranked is a whole different way to play
