43:13 everything froze. There is no balance anymore, no happiness, no more joy. The great haseki hurrem valide sultan has left. She won everyone one by one as promised, she left as true sultana no matter what shahuban told her in the past. She left winner, she saved the empire from mahidevil. She secured the future of her children which she loves equally. She did what no one else did. The empire was lucky to have such a sultana there. She created the sultanate of women. Her daughter became valide sultan after her. She's winner. This is not the saddest scene because she's happy, she's veeeery happy. She has the happiest ending in both series of magnificent century, no matter how much hafsa, hatice, Ibrahim, mahidevil, Mustafa, fatma tried, they could not change her destiny. She left happy!!!!!! She did what she promised to do, she did everything she wanted to do! She left as SHE WISHED to leave. True powerful sultana. Now will come the great valide kosem sultan.
Hurrem sultan started as hurrem hatun, then haseki hurrem sultan and last as valide hurrem sultan!!!
    The best mother in series.

I don’t like the way Suleiman and Hurrem were portrayed in this series, because history tells us that after he married hurrem their were no other women. Nobody know what their daily lives were like. Much of Hurrems life on the series is seen chasing after concubines, and killing them off, or getting rid of them. But I guess they needed a story to tell even if some of it was untrue. And I did enjoy the acting by all the stars of this series. Their acting was first class.👍.

A normal husband-wife relationship where the wife wanted to know everything about her husband hahaha it wasn't really interesting for this reason so they made up things. I can imagine hurrem sultan chasing Suleiman in hasoda to tell her if he ate secretly sweets. She had free and direct access to Suleiman and the two probably slept together every night as a normal married couple. She accompanied him in divan too behind curtains (everyone could hear her)

I dislike the type of writting that Hurrem owe something to Ibrahim... If she owed something It is to Nigar and Hatice ( even if we know how it will turn their relationship) but not him.
The phoenix symbolize the complexity of Hurrem ( and how she "die" when she was Alexandra La Rossa to reborn on Hurrem). It could be psychologic as soon persons will die some of them will see animal or something like this who can characterize them ( I knew a old man who was a hero for me and all his village and affront a lot of time deaths because of war, his militancy, accident or grave sickness and always escaped to the death to the point that he manage of dying of old age, two days before he die he saw in his dreams a ram which is a sacred animal for him with a strange color approach him without letting him touch which made him understand that he was going to die the next day, it was really sad , so the fact that Hurrem see the phoenix so it's both quite realistic and beautiful as this animal correspond her but it still very sad both )
This sickness was a blessing in her own way, she wouldn't see the death of one of her son again.
And even if I don't like her much ( but I never consider her as evil), rip Hurrem we will miss you you were such a complex, impressive , strong and fascinating character, I am still sad to her death. Even if you don't became a Valide you have paid the high price for introduce the Sultanate of Woman. You can be proud of your career and your inheritance.
And I am feel bad for Suleiman when he loss Hurrem no matter I dislike him :(

I think that it's time for me to pay my respects to Hurrem sultan.
When she was first brought to Constantinople, Hurrem started from the very bottom of the packing order and had almost everyone against her. And, honestly, who could blame them at the time; The harem has some rules, some organisation, some discipline that's in play for decades. And Hurrem shakes it upside down. Her impulsive nature, her inability/reluctance to follow the rules and her domineering attitude made it impossible for anyone to work with her.
Only her love for Suleiman, her competent allies such as sumbul aga and Nigar khalfa as well as Hatice sultan's (Hurrem's only friend and ally at the beginning) occasional help kept Hurrem in play. She had to either adapt and survived or be destroyed like so many would be sultans before her.
And she did learn. She secured Suleiman's love with her unmovable loyalty, no matter how much he disrespected or hurt her. She crushed Mahidevran. She defanged Valide Hafsa and her daughters and exploited Ibrahim's own arrogance and ambition to bring him to his knees. She did the same with Mustafa's stubbornness and impulsivity.
Overall, she steadily and methodically, removed all and any sort of threat for her or her children.
Truth be told, I never agreed with everything she had done. Or with the way she handed all matters. I still think that she should have let Hatice discover Ibrahim's infidelity on her own. Or at least send her leads that wouldn't connect Hurrem to the information. That way Hatice wouldn't be able to blame Hurrem, she would have divorced Ibrahim, Hurrem could suggest for another grand vizier and she wouldn't have to worry about a such a persistent and annoying foe like Hatice.
And I still think that she should have stopped Selim and Bayazid quarrel right from the start. To make sure that they always remember that they're brothers and that they must support and love eachother instead of ruining one of the purest relationships in human nature with jealousy and insecurity.
However, as much as I was at times against her methods, as much as I at times criticized her for her actions, I always respected her. Her strength, her determination, her intelligence, her awareness of both domestic and external affairs, her love, her humility. She had everything that a proper Queen-in my book at least- must have. She planted the foundation of a new age, the sultanate of women. And that alone is remarkable. Sadly, she passed away before she could take care of the succession or crush that snake Nurbanu.
Farewell, Hurrem the fiery. May you find peace and may you be able to set things right on the accounts you left unfinished in the time before
