Yum yum Mel! Everything looks so delicious! I can not wait to try all of these! My favorite sandwich is a French dip. I have been craving it so much lately, too. Last week, I made three of your crockpot recipes. Porkchops, chicken with the French onion soup, and Taco hashbrowns. They were all fantastic! All of my family loved them. Pro tip: mix the slaw dressing first and then add it to the cabbage. Its much easier to mix

At work we had a older man as the short order grill person. He used to use those egg beaters, or egg whites for omelettes. He used to ladle them on the grill, fill the middle with what ever, fold 1/3 from the left side over towards the middle, 1/3rd from the right over that, fold the short end on the top and bottom towards the center - about 2 inches, then flip the whole thing over upside down. It was very quick, as he had a lot of people in the building to cook for.

I discovered the joy of that magical item called crockpot liners. 😯

Since I always pull my meat out to slice or shred, then add the juices after, depending on the recipe, all it takes is to pull the liner out and pour it over the meat or into a pan for gravy. I've even saved it in a jar then froze it to use with another recipe later.
I love the liners and always have some on hand. They are relatively cheap too.
Just thought I'd toss that in.

Hi Mel, I made the queso chicken tacos tonight featured in this video. Of course I went to makin it and then realized I didn't have rotel or green chilies on hand. I improvised as you encourage us to do using what I had on hand which was a jar of salsa and it worked just fine. I had a chopped up rotisserie chicken handy so instead of using the crock pot, I just made it a skillet meal. Talk about an easy and yummy dinner. Thanks for always inspiring me with your videos!
I like to stock up on cans of Rotel or those nice little cans of spicy green Chillies. You can always freeze what is left over from your cans, into an ice cube tray for next time. Just don't forget to label them in a baggie, once they have frozen. I've also seen people freeze in their ice cube trays, oilve oil with herbs. When you want nice fresh herbs just drom in a frozen ice cube block of oil and herbs,, heat it up and you are good to go.
