What it's like to instantaneously be able to play anything you imagine the millisecond you think of it.... Corey Henry folks otherworldlyness!!!! Like a good acid trip😁
Do you get the feeling that Hammond was just made for CH to exploit every possible sound, harmony, soul - changing movement? Who can do that? Only CH ‼️‼️‼️
Cory can you do your own rendition of the following song "Blues for the hip king" by Abdullah Ibrahim using that kind of keyboard.. Hope to hear it soon
This was an intro to an actual song from the living in the gap album, for some reason they decided to cover smoke on the water of all things and have this lead into it...
You may have the music sheet to this piece but you will never have the soul it was played with. Your performance may be better or worst but will never be like this one.
@@nathanaelvalville9191 yes cory Henry is one of the best but no one can be the absolute best forever......that's why i said someone may play it better or worst.
@@SoleilLourdes much appreciated man. I just have major respect for musicians like cory for pushing the limits of music and the instruments they play to new heights.
He sometimes lets jazz get in the way of the music. He has good technical talent on the keys, there is no doubt, but he needs to hone his skill at making music.
Jazz is music..lol...But I think I get your point...Sometimes musicians can play to impress other musicians and forget that there are people in the crowd who don't care about scales and modes. However I think he touches a lot of people with his many projects in different genres.
@@willf.5608 Some jazz is music, certainly, just as it is the case that only some paintings are artistic. Don't we need a more useful definition of "music" than "an arrangement of notes to be played on an instrument?" Scales and modes are certainly part of that. I don't know how you're going to create music without them. Playing them in a "Look at me" frame of mind, though, is an indication of immaturity. We did those things in our school bands.
So. As I've been saying for many years now. This man here..is not of this earth. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
It is illegal for someone to have this much soul
😂
one day i hope to graduate to have this much soul stuck in my heart though even if i can't express it out but will always love too much SOUL!!!!!
Preemptively liking this in case I forget at the end cause I'm too excited.
The amazing world of Cory...Dude behave please!!!
From Cory ALWAYS come out pure music that touch directly the right strings inside my heart. Simply amazing. God bless you.
AND this brother can sing too. Dang. Too good.
1:59 is the best progression I have ever heard ❤
One day maybe Corey will tell us what it's like to teleport to other dimensions.
Dude, he's showing us each time he plays
He will give all the glory to God.
As it should be
What are my ears experiencing! 🤯🤯🤯

The 7 dislikes are some thought they were good before Cory Corona Henry schooled them
Who else saw Randy Brecker on the bandstand? :p Great musicians !

Cory Henry has taken up where Billy Preston left off... #Peace2BillyPreston
Kudos to you Mr. Garret. Both were and are Prodigiously Constructed Musicians.
Cory henry took up where cory henry began
What is the name of that dance?😛
what song is thissss
after this amazing improv.. smoke on the water... really??
thought it was a joke bruh
Even if they meant it as a joke it was a terrible take and it made all of us just rage
Cory reaching cosmic levels anf they treated it like a rudy ayoub video ending...
yeah wtf was that? Pulling away the carpet under your feet.
🙀🙀🙀🙀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cory can you do your own rendition of the following song "Blues for the hip king" by Abdullah Ibrahim using that kind of keyboard.. Hope to hear it soon
Blues for a hip king
Hmmmmmmmmm...you know........I kinda liked it.
Has to be a better place to land than Smoke on the Water. Has to be...
This was an intro to an actual song from the living in the gap album, for some reason they decided to cover smoke on the water of all things and have this lead into it...
Just ridiculous talent and virtuosity
The proof that god exists...
This is the second video where he's playing for a geezer butler parody that takes his music and turns it into smoke on the water??
wtf !!how he did that glissando !!!!!
That was the Coolest intro to the lamest song ever.... Its a strange feeling of a satisfying let down.
This is Crazy he makes millions doing this on Chess Homes Channel. WOW!
Some say ( when they are ‘talkative’ ), that they have been christened with a gramophone needle! What has Cory been christened with?
I wonder why he wears those beads on his hands and if they affect his playing?
They are prayer beads
@@THEADSALESPRO don't need no prayer beads. He plays, not prays.
Such a surreal letdown to have that end with the schlock garbage tune
I thought that was django
I also thought he looked like Jamie Foxx

GL with the corana virus going on
That’s cool and all but can he play Smoke On The Water? y e s
Impossible. Well, not probable, but obviously possible. Geeze.
*what its like to chew 5 gum*
Nyuk nyuk nyuk
How does such a high profile gig have such trashy sounding audio?! Damn that is clipping!
Farnam Music the organ has distortion on purpose

Corey Henry overplays every song and it’s his downfall. It’s toooo many notes.
It’s improvision u dumbass 🤦🏽♂️😂
