I went with my husband to the liquor store and I like to browse the expensive section with rare liquors. I walked over there and I stopped dead in my tracks...there it was the Del Toro X Patron Tequila. My husband and I looked at the price (It was $380) and said it was too expensive. We left the liquor store and that night I couldn’t sleep thinking about that bottle and set. So I went in the next day by myself and bought it. LOL shhhh don’t tell him plz. 🤫😬

This is maybe my favorite interview of anyone I've ever seen. A testament to both Hazel and del Toro, to be sure, but man del Toro absolutely blew my mine. He is an actual genius, it's easy to overlook him because his medium is film and that often doesn't command the same respect as science or other visual art forms but his intelligence is a little awe inspiring. His command of language too is incredible, it's hard enough to be bilingual but to be that articulate in your second language... Stunning.

I feel so proud of you and your knowledge altough I don't even know you personally :) And the way you handle your nervousness (because you have got to be nervous in front of this legend) is just mind blowind. Keep up your work. Brilliant interviews.
