Lisa is arguably the happiest music teacher on the planet. We can’t prove it, but we’d be willing to bet on it. With a background in classical and contemporary vocal training and a love for popular music, Lisa Witt focuses on helping her students uncover their own, unique sound and develop their voice with simple routines and tips for faster results. Her personal singing journey started filled with intimidation and fear about “singing out loud”. Lisa is so right on what she is saying. If you follow her advice, you will be able to hit the high notes. I have had vocal lessons and they really help. For me, it was being able to go up and hit the high G on the end of the Barry Manilow song Mandy, and several of his other hit songs. These techniques really help.

I do musicals. I'm finding these exercises very helpful. They definitely save my voice on stage. When your singing a lot you need your voice to be string. I noticed when I'm not doing a show my voice needs to still kero in shape. These types of exercises help. Some I've learned in theater. Others I didn't.

I would love to sing don't cry for me Argentina in theatre that I manifested as a 14 year old girl watch the show, but my voice was taken away due to trauma and bullying. I'm going back to theatre again as an adult but I am working on my stage fright. That's why my you tube channel is my starting point to ease me in slowly. I'm proud of myself for all the work I have done but that stage is calling me and I know I will be amazing in time

    Thank you for the tips.
The straw / SOVT technique is a game-changer for me. EVERY singer (IMO) should be using this.
Also, 'leaning' on the breath (appoggio) helps me a lot in belting high notes freely and takes the pressure off the throat/prevents raising the larynx.
Best wishes sent to you from the UK.

    Hi Singeo.
Can you please make a video on how to breathe while singing?
The first time I came across your videos, I was super happy cause they worked so well for me. I must say that I practice your exercises every day, and ohh! The results are ❤❤
So, I've lost interest in other videos. I prefer yours cause they actually worked for me: detailed information, and you encouraging us to keep going if we weren't getting the best results from our voice.. Thank you so so much. 😩😩💖💖
I'd really appreciate a video on breathing while singing and the necessary exercises.

What's Lisa's location? Does she give private lessons? She's bubbly in her videos, she reminds me of Kerry Mulligan, the actress. She definitely seems to have a personality where a person wouldn't feel intimidated in singing, singing being sort of personal, for someone having questions who hasn't been singing for that long. I'm curious when they say, you can do certain tones or ranges without so much effort and breath control? Going to move forward, on to her High Notes!
