I help care for 4 non verbal autistic men in a actual house. We are the only family they have. No visitors, no gifts, no knowledge of a holiday, birthday. We are their family to make sure all of these things happen for them. Does it matter to them. We won't know, but we just want them to enjoy some love and joy to their lives. 💕💕💕
That's so awesome that you guys do that and I'm sure they love it and know that y'all care about them it's just sad that their families don't come see them or care about them to do anything for them
I imagine that with all those sad moments there are some extra nice moments you get. Like you might not get to see her get married but you'll also not have to say goodbye when she moves out and you'll always get to enjoy time with her. When my son moved out to go to university I was so sad to have an empty house and I've barely gotten to spend time with him since. He now lives across the country and see him maybe once a year.
It is heartbreaking at points. I'm going through the guardianship process right now for my oldest. And in another 3 years I have to do it again. My son will be 18 in May and has the mind of a 10 year old and that's getting to me off and on right now! I completely understand where you are coming from! I'm so glad Ab had such a great Valentines Day!!😍😍 Have a great Thursday everyone!!💚🧡
My dad was a locomotive engineer and that’s how we went on free trips , my mom got free rides for life us kids lost the privilege when we moved out. Now that I’ve lost both parents what I wouldn’t give to go on another trip with them. We had to pay if we wanted a berth which is sleeping quarters but you should definitely do this especially through the Rockies Asa.
I took a train with my 2 young (2 and 3) children back in the 80s. I loved it! The kids were great. It was about 12 hours and I was so proud of my kids! Being able to move about and go from one car to another made it way more fun than taking a bus or even driving my own vehicle.
I’m in school for early childhood education and want to open a daycare I’m sure I’ll come across some kids with autism and watching these videos makes me feel much more prepared to help them thrive. Thank you
I’m in the uk, I go on trains at least once a week. It’s how I get into the centre of the city I live in, but also every few months I take a couple of trains to go and visit my grandma, it takes about 3 hours on the train vs about 4 hours in the car, and I can do it independently. I love trains, it’s the only pain-free method of travel for me, I get severe motion sickness in both cars and boats, I don’t mind flying but I find airports horrific, so trains are great. I also love the London Underground, it’s where I meet my friends every few months and the tube is great to get around. You should definitely get a train, I can’t believe Americans can go all the way into adulthood without going on a train! You get more legroom (at least in my experience) than a plane, don’t have to do the airport, get more interesting views (clouds are great, but all clouds are clouds), you can do all the things on the train you can do on a plane but without all the plane rules, and when you get to your destination you just get off and go on with your day, no customs or waiting for bags!
Happy Valentine’s Day Mass family!! Abbie was in such a happy mood! ❤😊 The pets with their valentines were too cute . Duck tape to the rescue. The things we do for our love ones .
Yes you did just make me tear up. Because For 18 years I was always my great nieces valentine. And this past Valentine I was in the hospital for triple bypass surgery and she was the first one to wish me a happy Valentine's day knowing that we are each other's valentine every year. So do share because nobody should be alone!
How can anyone not want to be Isaiah’s valentine? I’m sure lots of girls on here would love to be. Heck if need be I’ll be his valentine for kicks. He’s awesome. ❤️
Isaiah is such a sweet person, he deserves us all to be his valentine! There ya go Isaiah, you've got your youtube valentines and those will never run out!!
I've never been on a train in the States but when I was in high school I went to Germany and we traveled by train. I'd love to take my kids on the brightline someday!
So I'm from Canada and live in the province of Ontario but was born in New Brunswick, so I would take the train all the time to back to visit family. I loved it but it's so expensive. Way more than taking a flight.
I love the train! I took it here from Portland, Oregon to Washington DC about 20 years ago with a friend and it was such a great trip to remember. I would love to do it again one of these days.
Oh my gosh the simple genius of a roll of tape. I need to keep that in my car when I'm baby sitting. I have one kid that does the exact same thing with drinks and other that squeezes the cup so hard the lid pops off.
My husband hates buying flowers for any type of occasion so for this year for Valentine's Day he built me sunflowers out of those flower Lego sets because sunflowers are my favorite and as for the birds you should get a baby monitor that has the camera and voice in it so that way when you see which one is picking on the other ones you can talk to them and tell him to knock it off❤
We left Utah and road the train all the way to Washington DC. It was fantastic, had a sleeper car with our own shower in the food was great. Definitely do it
We love Abby too! My son got 4 valentines and I balled. Crazy the emotions we have. We do Blinders for our roosters, when they are picking on each other. Amazon, kind of like sunglasses for birds.
I have watched from day one .Asa taping Babies cup so she can enjoy it is why I watch. They are always thinking and doing things to make Babies life better.I love this family❤ I have road the subways in Manhatten as a teen.I live in TN now but it was so fun!Happy Valentines Mass family❤
I am glad you guys had such a nice day together! Abbie you look so pretty in your pink! Ive never been on a train other than the T to go into town and to another part of the state! No taping the cup is not overkill, if it helps show her that she should leave the cover on then do it, although she may peel the tape she's so smart! Hope you enjoyed your evening and have a great day today! Cant wait to see the next video! 😊❤
My dad and I tool an Amtrak train from Fullerton, Ca. to San Louis Obispo, Ca. when I was a kid and it was one of my favorite trips! Rode up along the coast so we had some very pretty scenery along the way. It was so relaxing and it was great getting to go to the bathroom whenever you wanted! 😂
Hi abbie and family how was y'all Valentine's Day,mine was great and i like abbbie valentines gift, hope y'all are having a wonderful thursday and stay safe out there ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
Not on a train sounds so weird to me, but I think it is bc in The Netherlands it is a common thing to do. We hop on the train and go somewhere. Most of the times it is more convenient, cars in big cities is a struggle and the parking is horrible and cost you a lot of money. I don't drive, no license, but even if I had one, I still go with a train to most places. I sit in it, can read a book or crochet and than I am at the place I want to be. (not during 8 am or 6 pm, than it is standing like sardines)
I totally agree. We also ride trams every day (subway in certain citys) or local trains. Weird to grasp that train is not a thing. It's our everyday life.. The only way to get by.
TRAINS! We live in south central PA and love to take the train to NYC to see a show. But I’ve never been in one with a dining car or sleeping car. That would be cool
My parents rode a train to work in Los Angeles after they moved to where we currently live back in 2000 a year before I was born then me and them rode a train from Maryland to New York while on a trip to visit my mom’s side of the family who’s based in Maryland back in 2008.
I know that y’all already know this, but my anxious cat mom heart won’t be able to continue on with my day if I don’t remind you that lilies are incredibly toxic and deadly to cats. I’m pretty sure you don’t let her on the counter with the stove, but just in case, don’t forget to put them completely out of reach when you are not in the room with Nala! Sorry for being a nervous Nellie! 😊🌺🌹🌸🌷🪷🪻🙅🏻♀️❤
I had to go back in the video because all I remembered seeing was roses but you’re right, there are a few lily flowers in there too. Hopefully they see your comment and remember to keep Nala away. She’s probably too content in her little tent to bother but still lol
My friend found a website that will send you several magazines with the top scenic tours in the country. They also give prices on the website for like 1 week, 3 days & more.
I was stationed in Jax back in the late 80s and took the train from there to New Jersey once when I came back home to Pennsylvania for leave. I wouldn't recommend it unless you pay extra for a cabin car because it's about as bad as being stuck in a plane for 12 hours. Train stations aren't always in the best part of town too.
We used to have an old school train that did a 2-ish hour tour through the mountains where I live but it was mostly used for school field trips and special events so it was shut down sadly. I’ve always wanted to do a cross country train ride! Also the savannah bananas are hilarious and I want to go see them too 🍌
Every time I see a video of them, I wish I could be at a game. We had a minor league team about two hours away and their games had some fun- silly features...nothing like that though. And they relocated a few years ago....
Yes I have been on a train. But…., it was with the boss. To and from Chicago for training. Certainly was not a leisurely, enjoyable train vacation. But I have been on one. Hoping to take an excursion on one to Duluth/North Shore of Lake Superior.
I've been on an Amtrak train a few time's it's fun especially if you sit in the obsatory car and you can look out an watch the beautiful scenery Asa you'd love it
I used to ride by train twice a week to get to school on Sunday night and get back home towards my parents' house. But this is almost 20 year's ago 🤯 (can't belive its already almost 20 years ... I'm getting old) Anyway, I think it's more common to take a train ride here in Germany.
My friend had a rooster like this that he didn't know was a rooster because he got them all as chicks. He called it "Toughie." He was the alpha. Definitely put a security camera in the coop to make sure the critters aren't snooping around. Preferably one that can connect to your WiFi or Bluetooth. No need to record it unless your tough one becomes abusive to the others.
My parents took my brother and I on a train trip when we were children. It was a lot of fun and we spent a lot,of time in the observation car looking out the windows at the beautiful, scenery going by. And then my mom and I’m took a couple of train trips across country several years ago, it was also a very memorable time, I would, say if you would like tomorrow go n an Amtrak train trip go for it you might find it to be an enjoyable experience, if you go with the sleeping car, The meals in the dining car are included in the cost of the trip. Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!
I absolutely love seeing your love and patience with Abby! It's so sweet! 🥰💜

Happy Valentine's Day 💗! Nala is such a character! Missing feathers means is they are maiding each other.
maiding?
You are some of the most caring parents😊 and what a most special valentine you have❤❤❤❤
Abigail is so beautiful and real smart
My daughter and I took a train cross country. We started in California and ended in New York. It was amazing.

I really like your family a lot. You guys are awesome. Your daughter is really pretty. Big Hugs
Hello beautiful Maass family ❤️ 😘
Abbie looks so pretty in pink.
You could get a ring cam for your birds! Or an Arlo camera! 😃 Or just spend a day there It will be easy to see ♥️ I love having birds

Hi abbie and family how was y'all Valentine's Day,mine was great and i like abbbie valentines gift, hope y'all are having a wonderful thursday and stay safe out there ❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗❤️🤗
I did the Autotrain from VA to Sanford last summer.
Went to a game in Sacramento CA and it is so much fun I bet everyone would enjoy it the music the excitement

We took the auto train from Virginia to Orlando...what an adventure. Broke down once and ran out of food...with 2 little kids.
That thumbnail is one of the best pictures of Abbie ever!
Buy Abby a Dunkin travel cup they have twenty ounce tumblers or forty ounce cups and both come with twist on lids and straws
Aww bless her heart

I feel like Abby might enjoy a train ride!
I go by train often. In the netherlands it is the second or third most used mode of transportation, second to cars and bikes
My friend found a website that will send you several magazines with the top scenic tours in the country. They also give prices on the website for like 1 week, 3 days & more.
Only time I ever went on a train was with my kids and we went on a train in NC "polar express train"
Love peterbrookes chocolate. My sis lives in Jax and sends the chocolate popcorn at Christmas.
Yes when I go to college I had used to go home every time and want to do with my college too on a train ❤️💙🩷😊
Yes, I've been in train with family and friends 🙂
We used to have an old school train that did a 2-ish hour tour through the mountains where I live but it was mostly used for school field trips and special events so it was shut down sadly. Hello to my favorite family
In the early 80's myself and 3 friends took a train from PEI to Calgary Alberta , Canada, 3700km , to live.
Our Frontier League team played the Savanah Bananas this past season. It was an away game, but I wanted to go so bad.
I've been on an Amtrak train a few time's it's fun especially if you sit in the obsatory car and you can look out an watch the beautiful scenery Asa you'd love it
The only train I’ve been on is the Cog Railway that goes to the top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire.
I used to ride by train twice a week to get to school on Sunday night and get back home towards my parents' house. But this is almost 20 year's ago 🤯 (can't belive its already almost 20 years ... I'm getting old)
Anyway, I think it's more common to take a train ride here in Germany.
So funny there was a Dunkin ad during this video
When you got the new feeders it also included color bands
I was young when I went on a train. I'm 23 now
My friend had a rooster like this that he didn't know was a rooster because he got them all as chicks. He called it "Toughie." He was the alpha. Definitely put a security camera in the coop to make sure the critters aren't snooping around. Preferably one that can connect to your WiFi or Bluetooth. No need to record it unless your tough one becomes abusive to the others.
Well we are not alone in this world at all abblie has summer and kylee and all the famliy that a girl could ask for happy sreding valantines day
11:46 Yes, I’ve been on many passenger trains. I’m 35 from DMV so -
a train north is pretty common.
I love watching your videos You’re the sweetest kindest family ever
My parents took my brother and I on a train trip when we were children. It was a lot of fun and we spent a lot,of time in the observation car looking out the windows at the beautiful, scenery going by. I am 34 years old and took a passenger train when visiting England. I took a train into the London England train station.
Mary (Education assistant)
Bless you I can't even count the number of train stations in London and that's not including the London Underground (subway).
I’ve done a passenger train from Kansas City, MO to Albuquerque, NM and it was the LLLOOOOONNNNGGGGEEEESSSSSTTTTTT trip of my life 😂 It took about 3 hours longer than it was supposed to so by the time we got to NM the rental car place was closed and here we are chillin in downtown Albuquerque at about 11:45 at night. Freight has priority so passenger has to stop and wait for them. Very pretty, scenic ride though :)
I need that for my cat! She's always climbing in stuff!
People in Savannah sometimes put their tickets up for sale for the Savannah Bananas. Maybe try to follow them.
I had plenty of chickens, & if you took out some of the birds & then reintroduced them the quails are probably just doing the pecking order aka chain of command as long it’s not constantly happening they’ll probably sort it themselves.
I have had 3 roosters at once 2 young ones hatched together & then my main rooster & they hashed out their pecking order never seen any major injuries.
“Here’s a headlock!” “LOL dad, that’s a real leg slapper”
Very smart idea, dad, if that works to keep the lids on her drinks; you're gonna be amazon shopping for tapes that will work or other gadgets.
Took the train from Milwaukee to Sacramento. also Milwaukee to Chicago Fun but time consuming. Worth doing it at least once.
Hi Asa, I follow the Savanah Bananas, lol.. They are hilarious. They are the Globtrotters of Baseball.
