    Great Brian, now I have something to do while I'm at work waiting for customers instead of playing video games or watching TH-cam videos.
    That's one small step towards an important skill in world domination.

    I've seen so many tutorials on how to do a coin roll, but none of them worked. This is the best tutorial out there Brian! Thanks a lot!

    This was awesome (more than usual). Please teach more stuff like this (like magic basics-tricky shuffles, palming etc) more often. Most things you teach need an audience, and this is something we can just practice when no one is around (but will help if you ever have an audience). Thanks for always being great!

    Amazing! In a matter of minutes, I have become an expert at swear enunciation and carpet quarter-spotting.
    For real though, a very good episode, I will definitely be working more on this one. Brian explains things very well.

    I love that Brian keeps reminding them, and us by proxy, that this is a skill that takes time to get down and smooth out. He does it a few times, and that's a great thing to keep in mind when you have a pro nearby

      Thanks!
      Watching back through it I definitely see some resemblance to our Rogue's Flask unveiling video with the contour highlights. That's also the same font we use for the Rogue's products!

  • @gplechuckiii

    It comes full circle (no pun intended).
    This is the first move I ever learned back when I was 14 or 15. It's now a nervous habit and I can only do it well with my left hand, even though I am right handed.
    Anyway Scam School is great because it doesn't just teach you the trick, you learn enough theory so you start thinking like a magician/grifter.

  • @gplechuckiii
    @gplechuckiii 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Also, and I don't mean to step on toes here Brian, some might find it easier to start with a half-dollar to learn the steps first, then do it with a quarter. That is how I learned. Like training wheels it is easier and learning the steps first without dropping it a million times is helpful. Or it was to me. A few days with the half dollar I was ready for the quarter. And it was just when I was doing nothing else, like on the bus or in line somewhere. In a couple weeks I could do it with a penny if I had to.

    What would be the more equivalent coin to a quarter in the Euro currency? You have no idea, right? :P Does the size and thickness of the coin matter?

    • @skylerluke
      @skylerluke 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A quarter is about the size of your first knuckle to fingertip. And the size should be one that fits your hand good. In the end the size doesn't matter that much I can do it with pretty large coins as well

    • @runningsandwich
      @runningsandwich 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Size matters! If people say it doesn't, it's because their coins are too small!

    • @Sizzlik
      @Sizzlik 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A quater is about the size of 50ct..but i would start training with 2eu and then reduce size. I go down to 10ct..smaller is harder

    • @Kaepsele337
      @Kaepsele337 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know if it's the closest to a quarter, but 50ct and 2€ work nice, since they are probably wider than your fingers.

    You’re technically not supposed to stick your fingers out like that... to try to stop that habit try using your other hand as a barrier to keep your fingers from sticking out so much, stopping this reflex early will help you in the long run since it’s more of an annoyance than actually helpful
