Now that's just labor market discrimination. You could sue for damages and have them pay for your gigolo class anyway. Also send the telemarketer a recorded casting video for your interviews and ask for his opinion ;) PS I hear the Chippendales still have a senior group.

Once I flipped the script on them and told the guy that I was taking a survey on telemarketers. I asked him how he liked his job. How long did he work there. Then I asked him how long it took to figure out that someone was yanking his chain.

You are calling me up on the phone and trying to sell me something. Please explain to me in a hundred thousand words or less, how someone who calls me up on the phone and tries to sell me something is NOT a telemarketer?" A few will still deny being a telemarketer. For the really persistent ones, I then say "You're trying to sell me something! Are you or are you not a telemarketer?" They do not like being asked this question. They always hang up by this point. They won't take your number out of their system, but I have had future calls from their number ring once or twice only to hang up before I even answer!

I love tormenting these callers--usually computer errors, credit card reduced interest car warranty and the dreaded "someone ordered using your Amazon account". Keep up the good work!

I tell construction companies that I live in an apartment. I tell Medicare workers that I’m 14. It doesn’t really matter what I tell them, but it’s kinda my passive aggressive way to deal with it all. They never give up unfortunately.
