Balkans:
The Balkans, also known as the Balkan Peninsula, is a geographical area in southeastern Europe with various geographical and historical definitions. The region takes its name from the Balkan Mountains that stretch throughout the whole of Bulgaria. The Balkan Peninsula is bordered by the Adriatic Sea in the northwest, the Ionian Sea in the southwest, the Aegean Sea in the south, the Turkish Straits in the east, and the Black Sea in the northeast.
{{In this Video, there are three Balkan Countries included: Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.}}
Croatia:
Croatia (Croatian: Hrvatska), officially the Republic of Croatia (Croatian: Republika Hrvatska), is a country at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe. It shares a coastline along the Adriatic Sea. It borders Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro to the southeast, and shares a maritime border with Italy to the west and southwest. Croatia's capital and largest city, Zagreb, forms one of the country's primary subdivisions, with twenty counties. The country spans an area of 56,594 square kilometers, hosting a population of nearly 3.9 million.
Slovenia:
Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia, is a country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the southeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. Slovenia is mostly mountainous and forested, covers 20,271 square kilometers, and has a population of 2.1 million. Slovenes constitute over 80% of the country's population. Slovene, a South Slavic language, is the official language. Slovenia has a predominantly temperate continental climate, with the exception of the Slovene Littoral and the Julian Alps. The Julian Alps in the northwest have an alpine climate. Toward the northeastern Pannonian Basin, a continental climate is more pronounced. Ljubljana, the capital and largest city of Slovenia, is geographically situated near the Centre of the country.
Serbia:
Serbia officially the Republic of Serbia (Serbian: Република Србија, Republika Srbija), is a landlocked country in Southeastern and Central Europe, situated at the crossroads of the Pannonian Plain and the Balkans. It shares land borders with Hungary to the north, Romania to the northeast, Bulgaria to the southeast, North Macedonia to the south, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the west, and Montenegro to the southwest, and claims a border with Albania through the disputed territory of Kosovo. Serbia with Kosovo has about 8.6 million inhabitants. Its capital Belgrade is also the largest city.
Czech Republic:
The Czech Republic, also known as Czechia, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. Historically known as Bohemia, it is bordered by Austria to the south, Germany to the west, Poland to the northeast, and Slovakia to the southeast. The Czech Republic has a hilly landscape that covers an area of 78,871 square kilometers with a mostly temperate continental and oceanic climate. The capital and largest city is Prague; other major cities and urban areas include Brno, Ostrava, Plzeň and Liberec.
Slovakia:
Slovakia, officially the Slovak Republic, is a landlocked country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Poland to the north, Ukraine to the east, Hungary to the south, Austria to the southwest, and the Czech Republic to the northwest. Slovakia's mostly mountainous territory spans about 49,000 square kilometers, with a population of over 5.4 million. The capital and largest city is Bratislava, while the second largest city is Kosice.

No, that's not true
The current population of Serbia is 8,650,208 as of Tuesday, December 27, 2022, based on Worldometer elaboration of the latest United Nations data. Serbia 2020 population is estimated at 8,737,371. It fell under 100k behind in two years. That is a big improvement, due to statistics showing that the serb population is declining, basically meaning that it was estimated for serbia to drastically ( also a lot ) decline, but as we see it turned out otherwise.

I'm from Serbia and while I live very comfortably as a software developer working for an American company, so many people are not that lucky. I wish that videos like this one could somehow reach all of those brainwashed people who believe the government controlled media and think that we aren't doing so poorly and that things are not better in the EU. They don't even want to admit that hundreds of thousands of people left the country in the last 10 years. We now need an electronic visa to enter the EU, it's so humiliating. I am working on getting a Hungarian passport.
No. You're the one who's brainwashed. Joining the EU means giving up your sovereignty and eventually your national identity, your culture and your language. The EU is a project of Western Marxism. And ideologies aside, the level of bureaucratic mess in its structures is just insane. It should just break up and all the countries should focus on improving themselves instead.
Sorry to say but Hungary is not doing really well and its one of the poorest eu countries, has the highest inflation in the eu and is one of top 5 most corrupt countries in the eu, not saying its governed by ultra conservative nationalist who basically owns all the media, rewrites consitutution and is hated by most of countries west of hungary. Budapest is good for freelancers and digitals cause its affordable and has good nightlife but its one of the low tier of the eu. I will probably trigger some hungarians because they think they are the beacon of the wealth, life quality and national pride. Economically speaking its essentialy a little bit poorer Poland, with Romania and Croatia being quite near behind and probably faster growing. If u wanna improve your life a lot more and prefer slavic country go to Slovenia or Czechia. If u like the sea Croatia is not far behind economically to hungary, wages are only a bit smaller.
@@Aggoenix Same here in Serbia, the country is run by one person, the government controls the media, corruption is ridiculous, the institutions are full of incompetent people who only got the job because they are associated with the ruling country. I understand that things are not peachy in Hungary (after all, our two rulers are best friends), but with a EU passport you can live in any other EU nation and you can travel with less limitations. I love traveling and I am sick of traveling with my non-EU passport, being questioned upon arrivals, having to show proof that I'll leave the country and such. Had to wait 5 months to get a US visa to go to a conference. So, a lot of us here who meet the requirements want that EU passport for one reason or another. People are also trying to get Croarian passports.

On July 22, 2010, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) came to the conclusion in a legally non-binding opinion requested by the UN General Assembly on a Serbian initiative that Kosovo's declaration of independence did not violate international law.
Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia on February 17, 2008, 9 years after the end of the 1999 war. At that time, NATO bombed Serbian targets for 78 days in order to force Serbian troops to withdraw. Subsequently, the region, inhabited by a majority of Albanians, was a protectorate of the United Nations. To date, independence has been recognized by 117 of the 193 UN member states, including 24 of the 28 EU states and the USA. Some of the countries in the list font recognized it anymore. Its a desputed territory, not officially recognized and not even by UN
nothing that ww3 cant fix/heal! Kosovo is Serbian forever!
#Slavs
Well, not really, Czechs are as slavic as Austrians are, the main similiarity between Czech and *really* slavic countries is mostly in language only.
@@vh5663 Then what ethnicity are Czechs? Are they Germanic? Are they Celts? Are they descended from the Avar Khaganate?
@@Nasraniksatria Thats a good question and I wish I knew how to answer. The thing is that Czechs are pretty much equally slavic as germanic (both around 30%). I dont know if there is any celtic dna involved in the mix, but the lands themselves have very long celtic history (the name Bohemia comes from the name of the celtic tribe that lived there). Czechs and Austrians is what happens when you mix slavs and germans, the only difference is that Austrians escaped Stalin and Czechs did not. Especially Czechs are a bit of both east and west but not enough from either to really belong.
@@vh5663 czechs are slavic lol
@@ninjasalt1387 As slavic as germanic. Again, both around 30%. The only purely slavic cultural thing about czechs is their language. You cant really spend thousands of years surrounded by germanic world without mixing with it. Europe is quite a complex place, you know.
