    All the time and effort has paid off! We love the way the face looks! Very realistic and the effect of Tautaun's skin is amazing! Our favorite version is with the glasses! BAD ASS! Thanks so much for sharing and for the video! We love having that kind of content here in the community!

    Love that you are bringing Aussie toy collectors to the American audience!
    Your sound is very light on this, speak a bit louder if that’s a fix, or up your audio settings

      Thanks for watching - Good feedback - I've re-jigged sound settings so hopefully my more recent vids are a bit louder. 🙏🙏

    Only just got into 3d printing and have been trawling TH-cam for channels like this. I’m going to build this and the stormtrooper with your videos as a guide.

    An amazing video and just love how in-depth you went, just in awe of how well you paint. I'm just starting out after a very long layoff since I was a child. So this is a good tutorial for me to use :) with loads of tips and advice

    It is an excellent model! For the eyes, if they are relatively large in size, you can use decals from other models, looking for a tone of the color of the eyes that you want to apply, and with a Sprenger hole punch of different diameters, remove the circle from the iris. Then, apply like a normal decal, with adapter liquids, gloss varnish, and paint the pupil in black oil.Greetings!

      Thank you - that's a great tip might have to try that out some day. 👍

    Well done, very impressive. I like to prime with black for darker undertones, not saying you should, just an observation.

      Thank you - yeah I generally use grey primer as it's the easiest colour to paint over and get a solid coat plus grey shows up any bits that I might have missed in the sanding and clean-up stage.

    After adding pastel do you seal it with varnish?

    • @daydreamerdesigns3D
      @daydreamerdesigns3D  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ihsonz Once the pastel is on it's not coming off as it sticks to the model so you can wait until the model is completely finished before sealing or even leave it unvarnished if you prefer the more matt finish which I tend to do these days.

    Hi mate, can I be cheeky and ask how you printed the bases on the beast? I’ve had 2 failures trying to get the first piece printed. Did you orientate and support it or use their pre-supported versions?

    • @daydreamerdesigns3D
      @daydreamerdesigns3D  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah of course - I always use my own supports as I want the control of how to orientate it and percentage used etc. For the base sections on this I printed it almost vertical with the flat sides away from the build plate so they don't have any warpage and make gluing together easier.
