Yeah I would say so especially if you're new to paining. My view is if you learn to paint using brushes then you'll be able to paint anything as you haven't limited yourself. Brushing by hand is a lot more versatile as there are loads of different techniques you can use. In truth even painters that primarilly use an airbrush still have to come in and do all the small details by hand with a brush anyway. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏

@@ihsonz Once the pastel is on it's not coming off as it sticks to the model so you can wait until the model is completely finished before sealing or even leave it unvarnished if you prefer the more matt finish which I tend to do these days.

You need to go for a resin printer not FDM to get the detail and then something around 8k in resolution (any more than that doesn't really make a difference) and then you want to consider the size of the print volume to make sure it can print the size you need. I use an Elegoo Saturn 2 printer for all my statues.

Thanks - I'm slowly getting better at editing! I picked those brushes up from the UK Games Expo from a stall that was selling all different types of brushes. They have Model Painter written on the side of them but other than that I don't know who makes them.

@@NeroxEditz I used about half a dozen different browns to get the finished result on each cloak. The vid covers each stage but if you didn't catch any of the names just let me know at which point in the video you need the name for. 👍

Yeah totaly if a kit this big came out now it would cost a fortune. I don't think they are too rare but prices seem all over the place so recommend keepig an eye on ebay and snag one at a good price if you can.

@@dan11596Hi, so I never use presupported parts I always support them myself. Individual printer settings, brand of resin, temperature of surrounding environment etc. can all affect the print so what works for one printer might not for another. Have a go at supporting the parts yourself and you will likely get better results 👍
