Fantastic video showing everyone how you keep history alive with the 1940 Meadows Grist Mill, it doesn't get any better than this. The cornmeal looks so delicious and I could almost smell and taste that fresh cornbread through the video. Sure brings back memories of the Good Old Days when the community gathered to help each other and listen to the rhythm of the Mill Grinding Corn. Thank you Mr. Danny and Mrs. Wanda for sharing with all of us.

My pawpaw would say “That’s Snazzy” watching that grist mill work. To me it’s like the old time ways are waking up. Beautiful cornmeal, and I bet mixing the two types would make a nice corn bread also.

Question why nit just run a harbor frieght engine to power the gristmill for that mater why nit run a shorter easier to align and tendion belt i promise your loosing 5 hp through that belt stretching it seems a couole mods and you could improve your ability while still retaining the old way a small harbor frieght engine even up to the 650 cc v twin is old tech carburated to a empty splibe pull that drive pully system off the farmall fit it to the new engine and run that thing full tilt also im sure a guy with lathe skills could remedy that loose feed regulator bolt better yet figure out whete the feed rate is best at full power with new motor and weld that collar in place or at least drill holse that allow you to set and p8n it at intervals. I understand preserving tradition and i onow yall had a good time but you could vastly improve this set up to improve your time spent aquiring feed and one minor part of your diet
