Curious- what size of fencer do you use? Joules output; solar, or direct current?

I'll have to check. Direct current though. Think it's good for around 24km

I've read that settlers in the 1800s would char/ burn the ends of fence post (the end that goes into the ground) as a preservation method to help prevent rot and bug infestations. Have you ever tried it? or heard of anyone doing it today?

We haven't tried that but we should. Lot's of people do it and it works well. Big in Japan and Scandinavia as well
