I just had to say "Thank you" for posting this video. It really helped me install these tail lights. Especially the part with what to do if the lights aren’t working, which is what exactly happened to me. I simply had to flip the connector and just like that, it worked. I had these lights sitting in the box in my room since February. Thank you so much, man. They look amazing!!!

Great video this helped alot during my install. We didn't need the wire loom at all. One thing to remember is that if everything is working correctly except the animation, you simply need to turn your lights on for the animation to work. If you install the lights in the day and your lights are on auto, the animation will not turn on. I figured this out because it was irritating me lol. In my opinion version 2 of these lights are brighter and I love the look! Thanks again!

so what did you do without having to use wire loom?

@@Camhill182 Hey Cam from what I recall ver 1 install is different than version 2. When I refer to the "wire loom" I meant that part of the install where you put the wires through the middle piece and then they branch off to their respective sides. And then you push that wire loom up and hide it in the center. With Version 2 you don't have to do this at all. All I did was hide the wires along the rubber trunk liner. I hope this makes sense.

Did sequencing work on all four lights without the loom?

I've tried everything, as well as following the guide, multiple times to get the taillight animation to function with no luck. Also my turn signals blink together, not sequentially. Any ideas?

I just installed today, looks great! However, I am getting hyper flash on my left turn signal… my hazards work fine and same with unlocking my car, the turn lights work fine. It’s just when I am turning left that seems to be the issue. Any ideas?

Update: for now I am running non-sequential on my turn lights until I can figure out what’s going on… maybe I have a defective product?

It say here that it fits 16-20 but on the website it says 17-21. Which is it, will it for my 2021 hatchback sport

the design/look of them are slightly different

The red lights on the V2 they are more L-shaped, while the V1 has just straight horizontal bars.
