Yesss! I've been wondering why no DJs on TH-cam who tested out the Mixtour Pro tried using it with a pair of deck controllers like the LC6000 or the Rane Twelve. It seems like the perfect modular controller setup! A couple of questions: How well does the LC6000 communicate with Djay Pro? Like, is it plug & play, or do you have to reassign any buttons or faders? And on with Djay, what is the music management like (e.g., do you analyze and prep your music on Djay on desktop before transferring it to your iPad, etc)?
Hi fam, thanks for your message! Yes I was looking for some modular solutions and this is the best one I found. To answer your questions: yes the LC 6000 is plug and play it’s already midi mapped except for a few little bits that I could go in more detail on another video and I could talk about music management too. Blessings🤙🏿
Bro I was thinking about getting a set up like this but I wasn’t sure if it would have work. Try looking up some vids to see if this set was done before and I came across your video. Nice set up. Can you make a video to show how you made all the connections? Do you ever use Virtual DJ?
Hi fam, yes I can definitely make a video about it. Thanks for your message and stay tuned I’m going to make it for one of my upcoming ones. Blessings!
Perfect for what I need
This setups a little wild but overall neat to see go down🔥
I do it with an akai amx + 2 lc6000 and serato
Cool set up! I’d say just raise your mixer up to match the height of the players. And just raise the decks to save your back👍🏽😁
Thanks for the tip! Yes I need to get the travel case for the Mixtour Pro to use to level it up
@ yea you have great mixes but definitely save your back!
