5:15 Actually at the homescreen we can press & hold on any icon to edit the home screen tiles and choose for PVM instead. For example, you can hold the bluetooth icon to edit the screen tiles and choose PVM icon to replace the bluetooth icon

Good review man but why no car reviewers brought up the issue about rigged test by Daihatsu? Whats the update? In Thailand they stopped the production but in here still continue & a lot of reviews from medias.
According from wapcar said no need to recall and no faults for Toyota Vios and also continue to produce this Vios in Thailand.
Non folding back seats?!? 10kg to expand the already small boot sounds like a good trade off.

Hi autobuzz, I just got the new vios and as per said by some users. The trunk happens to be stuck or hard to close at all times. Please advise upon this and give your review.
You can bring your car to the service centre and they will fix it for you. Mine had the same problem and now it's working fine.

The back seat that can't be folded down is such a weird sacrifice for less weight for the car. It is a car feature that should always be included for many necessary reasons esp. for safety and baggage conveniency. Such a waste in my opinion.
I feel like this rebrand has a lot of unnecessary sacrifices one is the missing spare tire again, for safety reasons. The ambient lighting as well, if they wanted to opt for a more premium feel they should have elevated that feature more throughout this vehicle's cabin at least. But there are good new features as well.
This gives me a slight impression that with this Vios they focused more on aesthetics than comfort and conveniency. It seems to not be that much of a family friendly vehicle in some aspects.

In term of look yeah maybe a tad better than a rounded city..but that missing spare tyre,inability to fold back seat and tiny head room at the back will be a dealbreaker
Now, vios have spare tyre but now optional and very cheap to buy so not that hard.

I really can't decide between the highest variant of Vios vs highest variant of Almera. Coming from a Myvi. I'm very tempted to sell off my Myvi while it have good value and go for 1 of these sedan. Damn!

Test drove the Vios G version recently and set the drive mode to 'Power'. The car felt heavy, acceleration was quite slow and lack of power on uphill drive.

Perodua Vios is the best! Small push with damn louder engine sound. Accelerate better than bezza. Test it you will know 96k damn worth with the car.
KIA Cerato 1. 6 SX launched at just rm99999 back when it is new came with 6 Speed auto, paddle shift, rear disc brakes, projector headlight with DRL,rear LED tail lights, rear aircond vent, rear arm rest, auto dimming rear mirror, auto lock/unlock,auto headlight, auto wipers, auto aircond, memory seats sound more reasonable than this Vios. We are talking about a car that is 1 segment above that sold at B segment price yet this newer Vios seems lower spec than KIA Cerato that launched on 2013.😂😂😂😂
Comparing between this car and Kia Cerato as old model, not the right comparison level. Even Kia Cerato as old model is really outdated than this
@@esk4105 Cerato might be outdated in safety standards but creature comforts still tops that of Vios.I mean do Vios have electric memory seats,Auto dimming rear view mirror,rear disc brakes,auto lock,auto aircond with dual zone climate control and sunroof?To add Cerato K3 2.0 has ventilate seat for driver which at that time no cars in its segment even offered what the Cerato has.Price wise the Cerato K3 1.6 cost almost like the new Vios but it is 1 segment above Vios.

I said the same thing to my wife... and just two days after receiving my car (City) my wife asked me to take out a fridge box.. that no matter how I put it inside my car I can't fit it in without using the reclining seat. It was at that point that I realized, I really did choose the right car. And just yesterday I make use of the reclining seat again to transfer a book shelves bought from Ikea. Two times already within the span of a 11 days of receiving the car.
Almost picked Vios though with the same thought that you have (how many times we'd be using the reclining seat right?).. guess I made the right choice going for City.
At first I was really attracted to this car.
After watching this Im very dissapointed and we can see toyota tried too hard to save fuel and causes difficulties. Produa just keep steady with their cheap price. Need to reconsider price wise

B segment sedan buyer mostly demand for practical, i bet coming new face-lift city will dabao this perodua vios.
Not really. But both of Vios and City will dabao Proton Persona because of everything in terms of specs and features and also reliability, although Proton Persona is cheaper than City and Vios since Proton is National car but Toyota and Honda aren’t. But if comparing between Vios and City whether which car to dabao, City is harder to dabao Vios because Vios have BSM, RCTA, 360 camera, design looks stylish and updated, full digital meter, better reliability, better aftersales and others where City don’t have. Even performance between Vios and City almost same

Driving experience, maybe yes because of the engine power difference . Overall comfort, specs and convenience, you will discover the difference once you test drive both cars. And that’s almost the same for the rest of their cars.

You get less than the competiton in the same segment. Unless you value a little RGB LED above storage convenience.
The RGB LED part I’m not sure though, but I definitely won’t settle for an awkward lane watch, when you have better option for better safety and visual.
Like I said, it really depend on what you want. If you think the package suits you more, and within your budget, go for it.
