  • A recent investigation by the Financial Times found that Ukrainian children taken by Russia in the early months of the war were put up for adoption by Russian authorities.
In all, close to 20,000 children have been taken during the war, according to Ukrainian officials.
Wayne Jordash, president of Global Rights Compliance, an international humanitarian law firm, spoke with PBS News about efforts to reunite these children with their families and whether Russia can be held accountable.
