I didn't know the hat lady was a gatekeeper until I read it in the quest journal. Strange that nothing in the actual game indicates her status besides our player character just sort of "knowing"
Its what leads us to believe the implication that every GATE Scientist or Worker, knows what a gatekeeper is/looks like even if that isn't said out loud for us, given that the only reason our scientist could know is because well when working at the springer facility they would've seen someone who looked like the sister or is able to simply infer that they would be a gatekeeper.
well through dialog with other npcs we know gatekeepers are some kind of security force but arent actually GATE security staff. Of course if you knew anything about the SCP foundation you could also infer that gatekeepers are effectively the MTF which they very much are so seeing a friendly face that speaks in tongues with the most conspicuous outfit known to man with an equally cryptic name you could put two and two together

With what we know now, it makes sense, because she's right outside of the security sector, and I suppose even though we (the players) didn't know that, maybe we (the characters) did just happen to realize by scanning the maps scattered about. We are a scientist after all, probably great at connecting dots and whatnot, not too far off to assume that we somehow assumed if that makes sense 💀
One thing to remember about the terasque is that was one of two members. The other one, preaumably its mate, is in a seperate area through the window it was staring at... I've not gotten to that other one at all (maybe missed a route), but it's freaky to think that if they interacted, it would apparently create some sort of super energy chain reaction.
I believe that there is another dead gatekeeper in the night realm. His goat helmet can be seen right next to the well of ink, as well as in the roadmap of patch notes.
This is just confirmation of what happened to the Gatekeepers who were sent into the realm, would've liked to include it in the video but didn't know of it when recording footage.
Actually judging by that image and the Pre-Release model of the Sister of the Unlost, the Skull mask belonged to a different Sister or one of the Brothers, but not to that Bruiser who still wears his helmet.
@@hiddendesire3076 I don't think anyone was saying that Skull model belonged to the Bruiser, and no it doesn't belong to the Sister, there are four Gatekeeper types we know about, three in game one on roadmap only. The one that wears the Skull mask can be seen on the roadmap but also has a model in game, so yes it belongs to what we could call the normal group of Gatekeepers/The Grunt type, since their normal sized without two much equipment. Those Gatekeepers are also what are seen leading the Tarasque though without the Skull mask, again we know this thanks to the files as theres two versions of the model, one with Skull mask one with out.
I really want the gatekeepers in the game (winter update i think). Those mystic supernatural agents interacting with a goofy ass employee with weaponized office supplies.
They definetly need to change his design (he's a Gatekeeper, he has the GATE logo on his body) to either white or any other color that isn't Ordo related (unless it's intentional)
@@underpaidmook I'd have to look again but I was near dead sure that guy was an Order member with his stuff on him. Maybe i'm wrong. I mean, we know the Gatekeepers are a potential threat, per the email where "dummies in labcoats" were being used as targets in their gun range or something to that effect. Clearly there has been some kind of contingency within GATE's own higher staff for dealing with the researchers.

But so actually, the email on dummies in labcoats, which refers to the security team using them for target practice, isn't actually tied to the Gatekeepers at all, as the Gatekeepers are a separate entity from the security team what that email actually refers to is the Order, given that the person who its directed to we have cause to believe they are an order spy as theres other emails that lead us to believe they are sabotaging gate to be ready for the order attack.
You're wrong. Look at the Abiotic Factor update roadmap that was posted by the developers. It shows three gatekeepers in one of the teaser images. One of them is identical to the large guy.

They are coming in Dark Energy the next major update, which is also the update where we go into reactors finally so that'll be a really fun update.
