I just went to the Vatican a few weeks ago for the first time (from the US) and I was extremely impressed. I don’t know how she can say you can see it all in 10 mins as we spent the better half of the day there.
Wow, I’m surprised to see the Vatican. I went in 2019 and it was incredible! The outside is boring of course but the gallery is massive and filled with history. To each their own.
Living in the US.. When I solo travel I'm usually the only American in the hostel and often the other guests have been traveling for months as opposed to my week off. Culturally we don't value travel.
@@ADPathosI hear you, but from looking at these videos she’s not doing budget travel, or backpacking and staying in hostels. These are some glamorous looking trips. Her family is very blessed.
@@CaptianTubb True, but I was assuming (however correct) that the majority of her traveling was done before producing videos since she mentioned visiting some of these places in the mid 2010s.
You should definitely go to Indonesia again if you have the opportunity, just not to Bali. We traveled around Sumatra and Java went snorkeling at the top of Sumatra and went into the jungle and camped saw orangutans went to a home stay at the top of a mountain in Java near a huge Buddhist temple. The people were so unbelievably kind. Just don’t rent a car, use bus, taxi, etc instead and let someone else drive. The other islands are not expensive in fact it was ridiculously affordable and there were not many tourists at all just a few backpackers in the surfing spots.
once you have visited 20 or 30 countries you start to dislike highly touristy sites that are artificial, so it's not surprising that she did not enjoy Bali. I agree that she would probably like other islands much more.
Interesting! I've actually been to all of them except for Moldova. I feel the same way about Liechtenstein. I went in July 2023, so the weather was great, but Vaduz was still fairly empty. The whole country really is like a village, which is fascinating, but it doesn't give me much reason to go back. I think I've been to 36 countries and I had the worst experience in Manila. Nothing really bad happened, but the traffic was horrible and I didn't feel that safe (maybe this also has to do with my age at the time). It was too difficult to get around and I was worried about getting ripped off. I would definitely return to the Philippines to explore another area!
Vatican City is dedicated wholly and completely as the center of the Catholic religion, so I am not entirely sure what you expected when you visited. However, beyond that, the Vatican museums house some of the greatest works in the history of mankind by some of the most renowned creators of all time. You probably missed the original notebooks of DaVinci or the catacombs, or Restoration labs where they continue to develop new scientific methods of restoration of everything from tapestries to stone, metal and paper or the scientific academy of the Vatican itself, where some of the most remarkable discoveries in the field of astronomy have occurred or the many pre-Christian artifacts and much more. There are a lot of incredible things to see in Vatican City. Surely a 10-minute visit is not enough time to appreciate the many amazing things that Vatican City has that can be found nowhere else in the world. In my opinion, another visit would be vale la pena.
But you do realize that not everyone is interested in the same things right? Meaning art & history, even from the greatest, isn't interesting to a lot of people
@@drjulian28 There is more to traveling and countries than art. So minus airport stress, everything else. Agustina, I think comparing countries head-to-head would be interesting, as they do in a soccer or basketball tournament. For example, Argentina vs. Uruguay and Iceland vs. Indonesia. And then the next video, the two winners: let's say, Argentina vs. Iceland. You could look at people, attractions, food, and beauty (or something like that).

Interesting perspective from a well traveled person at such a young age. This video was a good source of comprehensible input and Augustina is alwaysa pleasure to listen to. I only visited one of these places and it’s tiny, it’s only 0.49 square kilometers (0.19 square miles). It probably isn’t fair to compare it with a normal sized country but she’s right it’s technically a sovereign state. However, I suppose Agustina’s age at the time when she visited puts her at around 13 years old, I probably wouldn’t appreciate the historical, architectural and the art. But I guess she didn’t get to see the museum as it is generally closed on Sundays. She missed out because I took my kids there when we visited Rome when they were 12 and 14 and they were blown away by the beauty. Still, I don’t think I would have been at their age. I was more into seeing the inside of football stadiums.
lol it's really sad that you started with Indonesia which was the only country I traveled to, and I visisted Bali as well. and you're totally right I traveled there in 2015 which was the trend back then especially in Saudi Arabia cause it's also cheap and we share the same religion. but I see your point, I really loved the country and it was TOO GREEN for someone came from a desert 😂 I spent almost 2 weeks in there and I went to different sites. but even so, I think in the future if I gave the chance to travel more I would love the other countries more than Indonesia especially Japan!
Interesting, the Vatican looks beautiful from what I’ve seen on the internet but haven’t had the pleasure of traveling there yet. Seems like she liked visiting mosques, cathedrals, and places that have a lot of history in the European video series, so I was surprised to see she didn’t like the Vatican

Yo también he viajado mucho e Indonesia me gustó mucho.
Ay hombre, solo fuiste a Bali no Indonesia.
Uruguay is like a more chilled (or boring, depending on your perspective), more expensive version of Argentina with less arrogant people who actually know how to drive 😆
¿Cuantos continentes has visitado?
68 countries is very impressive and you're gonna get s little taste in the short time you're there but imo, its better to spend more time in less places.
Creo yo.
It's funny how you describe the food in Moldavia as "Soviet" and doesn't like it because it's "Soviet". Taking into account that the soviets did not come up with a brand new cuisine, a least not one that I know of, I think your issue has to do only with Soviets and USSR. If you are looking for some link between Russia and some of its former confederates, try Slavic, at least in this point of view.
Ay hombre, solo fuiste a Bali no Indonesia.
5) Haiti 4) Argentina 3) Cuba 2) Somalia 1) Bielorussia.
i'm in bali right now and i agree completely 😥
What's it like crossing the border from Italy into the Vatican? lol
I visited Poland last year, and found it delightful. Great food, people and museums.
Uruguay is Argentina's litte brother.
Uruguay is like a more chilled (or boring, depending on your perspective), more expensive version of Argentina with less arrogant people who actually know how to drive 😆
Argentina is like a pretty easy girl, good just for having a little fun, but Uruguay is the woman you'd choose to marry...
Realmente quiero visitar Indonesia!
68, nice. But why go to Moldova instead of România? I recommend Transilvania
¿Cuantos continentes has visitado?
Moldavia sounds like here in Denmark (saying this as a Dane) 😂
I love Denmarl and it's people, so maybe I should visit Moldavia also...🤔
@@DrivingSander1970 Moldavia is way way way cheaper than here so another good reason to do so

Do you have a big world map at home with pins in all the places you've visited Agustina?
I'm so glad my country did not feature in this top 5 list!
Fantastico 🎉

68 countries is very impressive and you're gonna get s little taste in the short time you're there but imo, its better to spend more time in less places.
¡Ven a Australia! 🇦🇺
Ojalá pronto!!!
Me encanta el acento rioplatense! 👍
Me decepcionó Agustina con lo del Vaticano. Era mi favorita de Dreaming Spanish. Ponte a calentar, Alma. Saludos.
Agustina, have u been to South Korea?
Yes!! I liked it ❤
Yes, Agustina has a DS video about her visit to S. Korea.
@@agus_boccaloniadios Gus...no Te quiero Más...jajaja Copa america soy Brasil....
