Тот факт, что Костелло и Сиерра теперь поют в Мет, увы, не делает их первоклассными певцами. Колоратуры Сиерры, мягко говоря, весьма спорны. Тембр временами красив и объемен, а временами на грани разболтанности голоса. Вибрато просто таки угрожающее. Костелло - классический микро-тенор без верхов (как бы там и что ни выкручивал звукорежиссер, слыхали в больших и малых театрах). Каждый раз с раздражением думаешь - ну, вытянет? неужели вытянет? Кое-как вытягивает. Баритон просто недоучен, голос между нотами скрипит, как несмазанная коробка передач. Оркестр… Оркестр немецкий, что тут еще сказать. На Лючии и даже Травиате просто хотелось заткнуть уши. Да и на Тоске тоже)))) А зрители аплодиииииируют…. Но, кажется, многие все же понимают, чего стоит происходящее на сцене. Хоть, конечно, это однозначно местечковый карнавал (хорошо хоть без бородатых женщин).
Sorry. this is a very naive comment! A strength of this great concert (and there are many) has been the programme of significant excerps from operas, instead of the most popular, The pedestrianisation of the Vienna State opera in the past two years has almost destroyed it. What matters is excellence, particularly in the Arts This concert and the Concert de Paris are probably the best of Summer 2022

It is impossible to imagine a worse provincial style, however, Hannover is not a capital, especially not an opera capital))))) And this concert took place in 2021)))
I must say I have never given due appreciation to the other roles other than sopranos and tenors
