Опера Верди "Риголетто" - первая опера, услышанная мною в моём городе Запорожье. Привезли её к нам Московский театр. Она меня потрясла, но потом я поняла, что она предопределила мою судьбу, явилась, так сказать судьбоносной, несчастной.
По молодости этого не понимала, а с возрастом всё чаще о ней вспоминаю. Музыка волшебная, ужасная судьба композитора в молодости, если то, что пишут о нём не выдумки, а настоящее скрыто от глаз публики.
БлагоДарю за концерт, вернее подборку чудесных арий и голосов. Удачи всем и добра.

@@sabinewussow2998 What I wanted to say is that while the politics divide the populations, the art unifies them .Because people that like the same music has a lot in common.. Regarding sanctions ,population in Italy but also in other parts of Europe is very divided but no voice is given to whom is not favourable to them. We are crossing a crazy period in which the continent of enlightment, decided to solve international crisis with irrationality and weapons..

Like so many others, the music I heard being played at home has affected my choice now (I too am 80+ years of age). My father played Italian opera and the songs of Naples when I was a child. At the time my mind did not really appreciate the harmonies, the vibrato, even the melodies but these must have lodged somewhere because whilst I can appreciate modern music, when I want to close my eyes and genuinely enjoy my favourites, it is still Italian opera that I turn to.
Caruso, Callas, Pavarotti & Caballe sind alle leider gegangen... Waren so grandios...
Verdi is the best opera composer above all. The arias the most sad but most beautiful.
