    I changed my tip to a 3.0 orifice and I'm flowing close to 1.5 GPM which is pretty good. Sacrificed a little PSI but for auto detailing it's great!

    Based upon your recommendation, I purchased the Greenworks in April of 2017, the day you released your vid. It's been a superbly performing indestructible tank and for $90, I couldn't be happier! Its 1.2 gpm rating through a 2.5 nozzle is also more than adequate... it's also great with the MTM foam cannon. I have a question though. You used to be an advocate of 1.2 gpm, praising it for being safe and all one needs. What's changed? Also it was kinda weird seeing you get excited about 50lbs and $300. That doesn't seem like the Scott I know. Many thanks.

    Nice review Scott. I use AR Blue 1700 psi model with 1.7 GPM. It’s been a work horse. I’ve been very happy with the purchase. My only gripe is their hose! Kinks up, hard to unwind and wind it back up. Also the hose goes into the housing so I don’t think you can change it out. Other than that it has been a solid machine.

    I use a Craftsman 2050 psi 1.4 gpm pressure washer and it's amazing. $200 and been using for 2 years without a problem, very compact with removable cart if you need to go mobile.

    Scott thanks for all your videos. I am confused now though. You did not like the AR Blue because of the 1.2 gpm. In other videos you speak on how well you like your greenworks. The greenworks is 1.2 gpm. I value your opinion highly. Can you give more insight please. Thanks again for all your work that you put into these videos.

    You can buy 3 of the Ryobi 1600 Pressure Washers for the price of one of these. Way lighter, and you can easily replace their hose with their $40 one instead. If one breaks, you have 2 more to still use. 1.2GPM is more than plenty and no one absolutely needs 2200psi to detail a car unless you plan on using it for target practice.

    Would need to be a larger pump to flow 2.2 which obviously would add cost and add more weight. I'll take a large AV Induction Motor any day over an additional 1 gpm. So I have to sweep the area twice as opposed to once...big deal. I prefer robust build and reliability as opposed to more H2o. Unit has a AV pump in it and that is nothing to sneeze at. I like it alot, gunna get me one.

  • @Iamtorzell
    @Iamtorzell 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have a question. Im new to the pressure washing world. What would the increase in GPM allow you to do that the lower GPM wouldn't?

    • @BruceAImighty808
      @BruceAImighty808 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Torzell Thompson Having a higher GPM makes all the difference when you’re trying to rinse off dirt and/or soap. If you have a low flow rate you will just be blasting the dirt or soap with a high pressure mist and it just doesn’t work as well. Ideally, you want a pressure washer of 1500 psi or less with a gpm of 2.5 or higher.

    Love your videos Scott and have gotten tons of info from you. Much appreciated. I have a greenworks that was a gift and so far it's working very well although I've only done 10 jobs so we'll see how it holds up.
    One question. Why do you want more gallons per minute? Isn't the psi the real issue to get the dirt off? Isn't it actually better to consume less water while delivering a psi that works well for you? Mine is only 1.2 gpm but the 1800 psi does well with both washing and rinsing.

  • @Calendyr

    There are units that are 1.8 GPM and sell for under 150$. Why in heck would you pay 300$+ for a 1.2 GPM machine? 2200 PSI is also too high, anything over 2000 PSI is risky to use on a car. Better make sure you have a 25 or 40 degree nozzle on that thing, not a 15 degree.
    Nice of them to send you a demo unit but this is not a good choice for detailers.

    • @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
      @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The focus with this unit wasn't just car washing..
      Larger inductive motor will last longer and can be used for extended periods of time vs other machines.
      But yes more GPM and it would definitely be worth 300-400 Dollars vs the 160 dollar ones on the market with the tiny motors

    Scott has a few good videos but more terrible videos $400 for an electric pressure washer and several other just nonsense videos to stay revelavant Scott just Detail cars and only post videos that you stand behind not who pays you to post and review

    Untill then, its not worth talking about.

    • @emp0rizzle
      @emp0rizzle 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The GPM is based on the pump they use. Adding a higher GPM pump would mean using their brass pump which means more money. At that point you might as well buy their AR630 model.

      I can assure you the information and product is not snake oil. You get what you pay for in the world of real professional detailing . Your equipment says something about you and your work ethic as a professional. I would choose someone who cared about the quality of their equipment as opposed to someone with an 80 dollar pressure washer doing a blow through crappy job on my house or car. There are people such as myself who do pay attention to Equip. ect when contracting for a service provided. Cheap my friend is not always the best way to go through life. Maybe that's the reason you don't get return customers?

    Scott thanks for all your videos. I am confused now though. You did not like the AR Blue because of the 1.2 gpm. In other videos you speak on how well you like your greenworks. The greenworks is 1.2 gpm. I value your opinion highly. Can you give more insight please. Thanks again for all your work that you put into these videos.

    • @ronnieparamore5346
      @ronnieparamore5346 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      jackhammer372000 I’m sure it’s because the greenworks only costs about 100$ bucks and flows the same amount of water as the unit in this video . For the price this unit needs to flow more to be worth it . Rinsing a car at 1.2 gpm vs 2.0 gpm is a big difference.

    • @jackhammer372000
      @jackhammer372000 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      thaks for reply. I understand about the cost difference. But im just concerned not that 1.2gpm for car detailing is not enough, or that is the way he makes it seem. i have never owned a pressure washer. i simply use a water hose for all my washing. thanks again for the reply.
