dji mini 2 is a great drone for enthusiasts. even great for shooting landscapes and posting in yt. can't wait for this pandemic is over here in philippines so i can get one and use it for our family travel adventures.

As critical as I am on DJI and how they drip feed tech that has been around a fair while for maximum profit this Mini 2 is the bench mark for all drones in this class.
Hey buddy the mini 2 has more people interested then the new 2s or whatever it is. The following for the mini 2 is huge and most of us newbies can afford the little guy. So I feel the more information you can post on the mini 2 or even flights you will find more followers. I like all your posts you do great. For an old guy anyway, I'm 73 and the mini2 is my first and only drone. I'll never waste over a $1,000.00 on a drone. But if I lose the little mini 2 I'll get another on for sure. For the price of the new drone I could buy three mini 2's. Watch you step and keep that mini 2 in the air for us. On my way to Florida right now. But someday we will be in your neck of the woods.😃😃❤❤
Was a little worried about your height above the river half way through the Vid. But, you were aware of the potential issues, so good for you. I've had 2 bad experiences with water but was able to save it each time. 😲 Also, I think you need a bigger pad🤣🤣 AND, surprise Bonus Footage❗❗❗ Looks like a nice little trail there. The dredge ponds let them wash the gravel and sequester the silt component to keep it from blowing around as air pollution. Then they can use revegetation mix by hydroseeding over the ponds once they are done. Nice video of Boise area!
Nice flight and I want to start getting brave enough to fly lower like you did. We have some nice rivers to do that on. If I get a nice day this week I might give it a go.
Hi I like your videos very much when you take you dji mini 2 for flights. I would just like to know something. Here in South Africa we are only allowed to fly at a maximim hight of 45 meters and the maximum distance is 200 meters, which means you need to keep the drone at all times in sight even if it has a camera and weights 250 grams. Now my question is, at what height should I put my dji mini 2 drones returning distance ?
Thank you! The reason for ND filters is to slow the shutter speed on the camera to induce motion blur into moving objects. A polarizing filter will reduce glare. Often people do use filters without really understanding their purpose.

What smartphone or tablet PC do you recommend that I buy to use with the DJI Mini 2 controller? I am ready to buy a DJI Mini 2 but I discovered that my Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro smartphone will not work. I want the device to work good such as with minimum lag and a bright screen etc. It could be an excellent used or refurbished device without phone service and cost less than $200.

Can anyone tell me how to get the new compass layout? I have all the latest firmware, but I still have the compass in the center of the screen. Is there another update that I need?

My mother lived out in the country back in the early 1960s, she went to pick up what she thought was a piece of broken cable, it turned out to be 6 inch baby grass adder, it was only a baby, it hissed and spat at her, it was a nasty little sod, she broomed it out of the kitchen door, since then she’s never liked snakes.
You've always got the great spots to fly your drone at! It's very relaxing watching your mini 2 footage on the river!

Wow, your drone laws are very restrictive! I like to set a high Return To Home height. I would suggest your maximum of 45 meters. Thank you!

The Mini two is more powerful, shoots in 4K and has the updated controller.

iPhones work the best. The best tablet would be the iPad Mini 5. I hope this helps.

I suspect that you are still using an older version of the DJI Fly App. If you are on android, you'll need to get the latest version direct from DJI.
