Yes! Thank you!
I always add cous cous to camping trips bc it's hot or cold and cooks w hot water, easy to carry n cheap! Thx for recipe ideas!
I would love to know your recipe for the garbanzo cookie dough :)
I got it off of the blog From My Bowl. It's really good!
The great outdoors with great food and treat friends. What more do you need. Looks like you had a super fun time and that scenery looks stunning😊. Oh and the shmores.....😋😋😋😋😋
I couldn't agree more! We had a great time!
For backpacking, I’ve really enjoyed the Leafside products. Also got some samplers from Harmony House and they are good. I use a metal food jar. Just dump in the dry soup mix (or half of it if using Leafside) add boiling water g water, and let sit for 20 minutes . It will stay hot for a very long time so nothing will be under cooked.
Looks tasty! Always nice to see what other vegans eat while camping/hiking! That’s awesome you made it down to the Grand Canyon, was there myself a couple months ago! I’m prepping for the PCT Washington right now so food has been on my mind a lot lately haha. Big fan of that Miyokos cheese btw!
For sure, I am always looking for more backpacking food ideas. That will be a fun trip! Washington is so beautiful this time of year.
Love your creativity and diversity

What a great video! I do a lot of backcountry canoe camping and like to use a combination of dehydrated meals (Nomad Nutrition from Canada) and also mashed potato flakes and couscous to bulk them up. We try to keep the weight down for the portages and go for 6 days at a time so the food barrel can't be more than 55lbs or it gets too heavy on long portages. Oatmeal is a must-have for breakfasts and dried fruits as well. We can't eat nuts because of a fatal allergy so that complicates things. All your meals looked so tasty and hearty! Love it 🥰
I have always wanted to try canoe camping. Those are both perfect lightweight foods. Thank you!
I've been looking for vegan survival meals for years. Can't believe I've never heard of them!
Incidentally, adopting a vegan diet happens to be the best way a person can help preserve the wilderness because it requires the least land and fewest resources to produce!
I'm noticing a pattern a with respect to the figures of whole foods, plant-strong vegans. They tend to be a lot slimmer (and hotter!) than the average, unconscientious, processed foods-eating, omnivorous American.
