Just saw them live in concert. I can confirm they are short in real life, but on stage singing their power and presence makes them 10 feet tall.
The thing is the Rapper - Moonbyul is a phenomenal vocalist too. Moonbyul won first place in Vocal survival competition. She literally made the judges and her competitors cry with her performance (you can search for Moonbyul Refuge). Moonbyul has several solo songs where she sing too.
It's just they need someone to do the rap part but she is the best rapper of the 3rd gens.

My all time favorite girl group. They're wrapping up their first US tour with concerts in Oakland tonight and LA on June 4th and I feel fortunate to have seen them in NY and Baltimore last month. Some notes on things you mentioned:
The mustache move: The first song Mr Ambiguous was their debut single in 2014. Part of the choreo includes the mustache move and they've been using it in their harmonized intro ever since.
Height: They're all short - about 5'2" to 5'4" - with Wheein (2nd from right) being the shortest. Wheein gets teased by the others for being the shortest munchkin of the bunch. They wrote a comedic hip hop song where they diss each other about their height called 1 CM/Taller Than You, one of many 'only Mamamoo' crack songs.
Main rapper Moonbyul was originally a singer but was forced to become a rapper by their label RBW in order to join the group because they considered her to be the weakest singer of the 4. Hwasa is also a member of MMM's rapper line btw. Moonbyul soon developed her own unique style of melodic rap and she writes almost all of her own rap verses. She has the most songwriting credits among female idols (100+). Other than low harmonies she rarely sang on MMM songs until 2018 but has been singing more and more in recent years, esp on her solo albums. Last year Moonbyul won a landslide victory on a competition tv show between 8 really talented girl group rappers to determine the best singer among them.
Byul isn't easy to pronounce for English speakers so here are some tips. Folks often say Bye-yul or Bee-yul but there's no vowel sound between B and Y. Try saying Yul as in Null and then slur a B into it: B'yul. Moonbyul's full name is Moon Byulie. Byul means star and she often goes by Moonstar so you can call her Moonstar if that's easier for you.
Dingga is a slang word meaning fool around and have fun. Dingga was released during the pandemic and was intended to cheer us up while we were socially distant, hence the lines about lacking vitamin D because they're stuck indoors with a fly for a friend. In the song and MV they fantasize about various ways of having fun with friends of all ages by going out for ice cream and playing games or partying and drinking like a fish.
Mamamoo's name: Yes, it's a goofy name and that's not all. The fandom name is moomoo. Moo means radish and MMM's light stick is shaped like a daikon radish. It's a dork trifecta: silly group name, fandom name and light stick. Before they had light sticks moomoos used to show up at MMM events wearing radish masks and carrying real daikon radishes. Mamamoo's duality as serious artists and crackhead beagle-dols is legendary and moomoos are equally weird. lol Mamamoo was the original title of Mr Ambiguous, which was written for Quincy Jones by RBW's co-CEO Kim Dohoon, and the girls performed it for Quincy when he was in Seoul for a concert while they were still trainees and didn't have a name for their group. QJ decided not to use the song so Kim Dohoon partially re-wrote it, re-titled it Mr Ambiguous and gave it to the girls for their debut single and the original song title became the name for the group.
To answer your final questions, Solar is my favorite member because she's the one who makes me cry when they do ballads. I agree with the other comments recommending the Immortal Songs Medley and Purple Hawke's two part guide to the members. Immortal Songs is a singing competition tv show where contestants do new arrangements of classic (immortal) songs, often as a tribute to an older artist. MMM appeared on Immortal Songs 14 times between 2015-19 and each is a spectacular vocal showcase on the level of I Miss You. Unfortunately the tv network blocks reactions to videos of the show. Fortunately MMM arranged a medley of some of the songs they performed between 2015-17 and included it in their 2017 concerts. The Immortal Songs Medley video was professionally filmed at one of those concerts and the video was uploaded by a moomoo so it's safe for reactions.

Since the first time I heard Mamamoo I could tell they were amazing vocalist artists. Seeing them in Ft. Worth last week only solidified that fact for me. They are incredible live. They are between 5'3 and 5'4

Best pop vocals period (not just kpop). You probably want to watch a guide at this point becaus they are great people as well as being great artists. My favorite is Purple Hawk's, which came out in 2019 but Moo YT's from 2022 is also good. Their ultimate vocal flex is The Immortal Songs medley, which is a clip from their 2017 concert. They are all successful soloists so there is their individual as well as group music. My personal favorites are Decalcomanie and Destiny (no mv but live Queendom performance like I Miss You).
Since you started talking about height ... while there are shorter individual idols Mamamoo has the shortest average height and they have a song 1cm where they tease each other about their height. It's a good introduction to their humerous side.

Hwasa and Wheein knew each other since middle school, so they have been friends for 10+ years they are practically sisters.
In the beginning before they became Youngkong and Byulkong, Moon and Sunrise, Mamamoo+, Solar and Moonbyul did not get along. They even have this infamous story about a fight they had that involves cereal.
Say Byul like you would you'll with a b on the front. The others are Solar (easy) and Wheein (wee-in; they call her ween-ah).
I can confirm the volume Solar lets out is shocking
Moonbyul is also an amazing vocalist, some examples that showcase her vocals are her performance covering the song congratulations by DAY 6, she performed this on the show second world in which 8 kpop female rapper compete to showcase their vocal ability, and MOONBYUL WON!, you should also watch her solo song Absence.

Great reaction, I always enjoy this killing voice video, it really shows off just how extremely talented they are as vocalists, they can all actually sing including moonbyul but her singing is mostly on her solo albums, yeah they all have solo albums. You are right they are about 5'2, they even have a song 1 CM dissing their height, yeah Solar also about 97 lbs is able to use it all to create that volume and I she can do that until the end of a 4 hour concert, I have even seen videos of her live pole dancing and belting it out like that spinning around a pole after 6 minutes of dancing and singing a cover of despacito in spanish.
