One of the causes for delayed gastric emptying is Gilbert's syndrome, which I unfortunately discovered just recently not 10 years ago when I should have. I'd guess that could be the cause of my problems (dry eyes - 0 Schirmer which is debilitating, dry skin, dry hair, nausea, constipation, anexiety, dizziness...). I was tested, scanned, biopsied... for everything else and it's all negative. It's not just me that has these common Gilbert's symptoms. And this could also lead to poor gallbladder function- not enough stimulating acid in that duo thingy? At first I tought all this is just coming from gallbladder dysfunction (I noticed the 💩 colour is not as it's shown in this emoji), but after watching your videos I started Betaine HCL and constipation is "washed" away. I also ordered Beet flow, since high dose Taurine, Silymarin, TUDCA... produced no improvement after 1 year. If you could do a video on Gilbert's because there's a lot of us out here existing in misery. Just lowering bilirubin with Sun exposure, Calcium D-Glucarate... doesn't improve the symptoms. And "doctors" claim Gilbert's is benigne, so they aren't of much help. PS: I also take vitamin b1 to improve my Vagus nerve 😉

@oldegoatee8450 you could look into slippery elm and marshmallow extract (or DGL-liquorice). These can help coat your stomach and soothe. What about if you have gastritis and gastroparesis? Also silent reflux
It can be common to see those things together and there is usually more than one issue going on at once. your best bet could be to go through our totally free digestion course because that will walk you through figuring out which aspects of digestion are not working correctly and what steps will help you the most. How long did you take betaine HCL ?
That's going to vary greatly from person to person. This video explains the most common reason a person might not be able to produce enough HCL. th-cam.com/video/Hvr-I37Oe3E/w-d-xo.html
@@KickItNaturallythanks! I'll check it out. I meant specifically T.C. I was wondering how long he took Betaine HCL before he stopped taking it
Great to know~!
glad it was helpful.
So how do you increase stomach acid?
Here is our video on that: th-cam.com/video/Ry4ZgCT686Q/w-d-xo.html

I've been using digestive enzymes to help; should I be using apple cider vinegar instead? But did have an ulcer a few years ago. 😬
I don't know your entire situation, but this video on ulcers may give you some insights: th-cam.com/video/8YgWmJnI2iM/w-d-xo.html

@@KickItNaturally Thank you for kindly responding. I am trying the betaine hcl to see if that helps. No longer have an ulcer, but a "sensitive" stomach. Will watch that video. Your advice has always been helpful to me. Thanks very much!
@oldegoatee8450 you could look into slippery elm and marshmallow extract (or DGL-liquorice). These can help coat your stomach and soothe. So this may allow you to take the HCL without ulcer or sensitivity concerns. (As always you'd need to research that these don't interact or have any contraindications for you or other meds you're on)
@@royrogers495 Thank you Roy Rogers! Slippery Elm sounds efficient! 😍 I luv liquorice but have to be careful b/c of blood pressure. Thanks again for the suggestions.
@oldegoatee8450 you're very welcome. For what it's worth, DGL or deglycyrrhizinated liquorice has the blood pressure elevating chemical removed, and is supposed to be great for peptic ulcers and Gerd (without the associated side effects of normal liquorice).
It you eat a meal that is high in fat what also has carbohydrates with it the fat will cause a haul to the digestion on the meal. When the fat is gon then digestion starts up again.

The purple pill hates you!
It is crazy when you think of it, not only does low stomach acid not allow the LES to close, it keeps the contents of the stomach there longer too prolong the agony. Everything you said I verify by personal experience.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this.
What do you do if its stress related low stomach acid and your body being stuck in the fight or flight mode ?

You say your not a doctor,BUT you have much more knowledge then most doctors,So how & where did you gain this knowledge,,,most doctors are pushed by big pharma instead of common sense,,
I appreciate that. I tell my story of how I got started in this industry in this video about how I lost my voice for 8 years: th-cam.com/video/Ry_mGzS6JU4/w-d-xo.html

Imagine turning off the stomach acid and then adding it back in order to digest your food. Seems backwards!

Doctor Sizzle, 😂 yay, am now pooping like a champion. Tx you so much for yr educative content
Way to go!
What got you to poop? I am struggling to figure out if it's the gastroparesis that's causing me not to go for 12 days or more or is it the PFD. Pfd is pelvis floor dysfunction. I was told that it's not that bc that only happens when you have incomplete bowel movement which I do. I had a test showing pfd by the way so that's how we know.
