Hello sir, i succeded to patch oracle engine 19c silently using -silent option. The issue was that i did not have to specify the JRE path wich is already kown by Opatch. So it works at the end. Best regards.

Hello sir, i have a question if you permit of course. I have been able to create database via dbca using a customized template, everything was ok except the control_files which have been created in an other path onstead of the one which was specified in the template.
Instalation mode:standart , single instance no pdb, Oracle entreprise edition.

Hi, when I try to download the patch file the download button is disabled and it shows me this message:
You do not have the required access privilege to download this patch.
Ask your organisation to give you the privilege to download the Patch then try.

After a lot of trial and error, I was able to apply the patch from 19.3 to 19.16 on the Windows version of Oracle using this as a reference.By th way, my company's patch application manual states that the OS should be restarted after applying the patch, but I couldn't find any such article when I searched the internet. So my question is, should I reboot the OS after applying the patch?

How to recover ORaclehome\.security_patches contents, if they are deleted somehow? I am having trouble in Opatch applying getting error like - this patch is not needed. OPatch session completed with warnings. checked the log file it shows all contents of /Oraclehome\.patch_storage are deleted. How to fix this issue so i can apply patches successfully? support_oracle knowledge base does not show this specific issue so far? trying to approach service request. Meanwhile, any help is appreciated. Thank you.
