I do not get why most people who comment on these videos with these kinds of mansions say that the mansion interiors are hideous, gaudy, or tacky. I think they look pretty nice in my opinion, especially this one.

@@wyattrichart4516 sometimes it's people who know they will never be able to buy those houses that talk bad about them. They try to tell themselves that it's ok if they can't afford it cuz anyways it's ugly af. It's their way to not make themselves sad. Just wait till some of them are rich they'll be one of this "hidoeus" "non warm" houses
@@TELENOVELASCHANNEL i have seen legit tacky houses.... But just because an house has an floral mural or green 90's marble does not automatically make the house tacky those things can easily be renovated.... I tend to look more at its architecture and that's how i figure out if its an nice home or not.

They should rent the places out for events. These houses are pretty but so massive and extra. Who can really afford these places? And if they can afford them, are they able to keep them up (property tax, utilities, grounds keeping, etc.)?

The narration is a little out dated. People are now fleeing NYC for New Jersey and other places with the rising crime rate there. Homes here in this area are selling above asking price to people leaving the city. This is where where the show The Real Housewives of NJ is set.

its a beautiful mansion that's located on a horrible street and that's why it's not selling. For that price tag you want your neighbors to have similar homes and that's not the case! Location is everything...

Surely it's not a surprise why it hasn't sold....You have to ask yourself who or where from are the people who decided on the interior for this home.....
This home is dirt cheap for what you get and for being in NJ. Just look at some other $40M to $250M homes on TH-cam as a comparison.
yes i was thinking about . In youtube some other houses which not even 20 thousand sq feet and which do not have this big area are of more 20 million dollars . This is the best pelroperty compared to them

If somone like that kind of bling and gold decore true the house well then yeah. Today its more of modern style that capture people. People might think it too much of the bling so that the reson for its not selling.
@Carola Wasberg: Bling implies something cheap whereas this house has expensive artisan type furnishings and fittings. The reason why it hasn’t been selling is that ex-President’s handling of the country’s economy has devalued properties and, let’s face it, he only thought of himself, typical of a true narcissist! The housing market should pick up now that a real President is at the reins.

Yeah, but unfortunately New Jersey property taxes are destroying the market for such homes.
Maybe if the sellers got rid of the gaudy furniture and drapery and stripped it bare then the true beauty of the architecture of the home could be appreciated and be it's selling point. The house and the grounds are beautiful.
Way too much money spent on a place to live. Too much emphasis put on materialistic beauty. What does it cost to keep up this property on a monthly basis, empty or occupied? Definately not for the average person. The immunities are what dreams are made of. Would like to know when it gets sold, just curious.
Those that can afford such a palace are now worried about the monthly expenses to maintain such a property.
