Great video. However, I will avoid using nylon utensils in this pan when i get it (or them). I think they scratched my Made In non-stick pans after a few months of use. And yes, I followed all the recommended guidance that came in the box and these videos!

But what kind of utensils you will use then?

Sorry to hear that! You want to avoid anything with sharp edges. Silicone or wooden utensils should work just fine if you want to avoid nylon.

To cook an egg, do I need to add oil or butter to the pan before I place the egg in to cook, or can I simply put an egg in without anything on the pan?

We recommend always preheating both our ProCoat Non Stick and CeramiClad pans with fat in them to help protect the pan from overheating (but don't use cooking sprays). I suggest using a small amount of oil or butter for the best results when frying an egg.

What’s the highest stovetop temperature (in degrees) that you recommend? I use induction, so “medium” or “medium high” can be more specific a choice.

Medium is the highest heat you should use for CeramiClad (that's about 300-375F if you measure with an infrared temperature gun).
