He was a good thief. He stole our hearts. ❤
Til my father found out
richard was an incredible talent!
Wow, so great to see Richard Pryor again, happy and full of life. And even better, interacting with Dave. Thanks for posting the video guys!! 😊
Precisely what a master thief would say to throw us off the scent.
One of the greatest, a true legend.
The master. The legend. No one better than Richard Pryor
As the MC used to announce at the start of his comedy concerts: "Ladies and gentlemen, the two most beautiful words in comedy...RICHARD PRYOR!"
If you look at 11:14 Letterman slams a lighter on the desk. What was he thinking?
The Cafe Wha? is still in The Village!
This was B E A Utiful to see, thanks PAnts! Any chance of getting Mr Letterman to recall stories of Brother Theodore?
Love to see Richard Pryor content he is 1000x the comedian that any comedian ever was or will be
he looked like he wanted to leave about halfway through the interview
Comedy, for the most part, doesn't age well. It really can come off as dated. But I can still watch Pryor's famous live in concert film, and, at least for me, still find lots of comedy gold in it.
A great moment in time ✨✨✨
Poor Richard, life had started to take its toll on him.. 😢
Yes. His best years were behind him at this point. It was sad. I remember.
Man, the memories…
Yeah you can see that spark was just slowly beginning to fade here.
He had been diagnosed with MS the year before. Sadly, six months after this interview, he and Flynn divorced, though they'd marry and divorce yet again.
🐐
Now you’re talking 😊
Would love if you could leave the movie clips in whenever possible!
This was fun😊
On the comedian Mt. Rushmore
RIP i cant believe hes gone
So as Letterman went on, he just said Richard Pryor lines all the time
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Not only was he a terrible thief, he also abused Pam Grier
Yeah, but he was funny and charming so it's fine.
...and rich.
