You played this extremely well. I have played it as well. I connect it with anti war sentiments and heroism at the same time. Whatever were Schubert's intensions? It's difficult to interpret. What you managed to do was just accentuate the curves of the melody line throughout so that by the time you get to the end you can play the same lines with that certain question whether the sound and fury preceding the end were really all that matters. Again, you rank right up there with the best recorded interpretations of this piece. Thanks and best
