Hi Linda great job I'm trying to do some of my shrouds and now thanks to you I get the idea love your videos best regards from the South East Coast of Ireland 🇮🇪😀😊
Linda Vater you are just THEE BEST! 🌱🌳🍃 Love pruning-is that a CONTROL THING 🤪-gardening and all it entails! Thank you for your time, energy and experience that goes into your sharing your LOVE of GARDENING.Sandie from Central California... 🌱🌸🌱
Thank you Linda!!!! I've been waiting for this series. I am itching to get my sunshine in a conical form although it feels difficult when they r not very tall yet. LOVE this first video.
I just found your channel. I live in Texas. I was wandering how often do you have to transplant due to the boxwood getting root bound? I love topiaries. TFS
Awesome!! I'm starting to get into the green mountain boxwood..looks awesome. Questions.. how you take care of your concrete pots for winter?? I got some new ones to use next year.
Hi, wondering what the Two smaller Boxwoods are that are on the window sill behind the bigger one? I am looking for something that size to go up our walkway and would prefer for them to stay that size? Thank you so much
I’ve found that most shears are not very sharp when purchased. I suppose the stores don’t want to risk their customers cutting themselves. But I’m learning to sharpen my own tools by watching TH-cam videos. Using sharp shears make trimming so much more enjoyable and effective!
This was so cathartic to watch.... Unfortunately, I’ve missed my window to prune, we’re hitting 101 here in southern New Mexico today. If my first frost date is late November to mid December, would it be safe to prune in September? Thank you for the video!
Linda Vater Sadly, they are in full sun all day. I just planted them in March. I’ll let them put a little more growth on then figure out my desired shape ☺️ planning is half the fun!
You’re an amazing garden designer
and your videos are so much fun to watch !!!🌳

Could I use a tomato cage as a wire form for new plantings and cut around the form to keep the shape
How often does this need to be done? We planted ours in the late spring.
Awesome!!

Megan White yes. I’d prune first of September. If your nights are still cool and if it is in some shade you’re probably okay to prune now:)
