I agree with the extra tarp setup. I would be interested in trying the tarp the other way so the pointy end was above the door, with the guy line staked with a 4ft pole in front of the doorway. Thanks to both of you.
We only got back yesterday!!? That was spectacularly quickly edited........and libellous!!😆And equally enjoyable...thank you yet again. An otter was seen, as were kingfishers, and my first cuckoo of the year........ Those hammocks work well, especially for those new or nervous of trying hammocking.
Thanks for the upload & nice to see you back on YT again. Your vid you did at Baconsthorpe has inspired me & my girlfriend to head up there on the bikes at the tail end of summer this year. Cheers Andy
@@divum as a kayaker i have been contemplating a journey in sweden , and obviously a canoo will offer some more comfort (especially since my wife doesnt enjoy paddling). so kayak paddle in the canoo it is
RE Belisarius277: Hi, they are more commonly used in the States. I think I will use it in open waters, where there is a long haul, or when there is an off centre head wind; where it might help keep a solo canoe to wind? You do get drips on your lap, and that day was very cold and wet in any case!! I think it will have it's uses, and I will hopefully be using it again with Andrew........
Sorry, KilosGear quote an R value of 4...not 2 for my mat, as I erroneously stated in the film.
Top bit of cooking! Bravo!
Very nice of you. Thanks 👍🏻
i'll second that!👍
This video has everything
Wow! Thanks. Appreciate it.
Nice film. Coq au vin looked terrific. Thanks and all the best.
It was utterly delicious😛!!
Cheers

Thanks. I find hanging the ridge line is easy using the same trees that support the hammock. The extra tarp is definitely my preference. Cheers
Good to see you back bro👌😎😉
Very kind. Thank you for your support
That looks delicious! A proper 'Hobbit' diner for an adventure! 😆
Yes! It's like a witches cauldron!

Thanks Laurie. Let's choose a dry day next time!

Thanks. I really need to do another bike video....
Enjoyed that, thanks gents
Very welcome 🙏
I suggest you check out the HAVENTENT line of lay flat hammocks. I bought the Haven Safari XL which is wider than their other models
Yes I have looked at these....it's the old thing of what works for an individual. The Haven is a very different thing?
@@lauriebloggs8391 I just happened to get in on Haven's Kickstarter event and got my Haven for $331 instead of what they really want lol
Plus it can be used on the ground like a tent
Absolutely, and does it well
I am referring to the HavenXL not the cat
your mate stopped using the kayak paddle?
He wanted to trial it. The verdict was good. I think he'll probably switch between the traditional and kayak paddles.

@Belisarius277 actually, I'm thinking of using my kayak paddles on my next long trip to balance out my shoulder pressure. Good luck in Sweden

Yes but it is a lay flat hammock with the air mattress having the air tubes sideways not lengthways
Do you do Deliveroo?
😅🤣😂😆!
Deliveroo by river...now there's a new business idea!!!
