- Chris Dave soloing at The Band On The Wall venue in Manchester, England. Playing with The Drumhedz with Pino Palladino on bass!! I don't usually post these kinds of videos on my business channel, got the wrong account. However, I may upload some other videos of the gig to this channel as this video has quickly got a lot of views!

After seeing this video I finally came to grips with this: Chris Dave is the pinpoint of the cutting edge of drumming in 2013. He's the most advanced drummer rhythmically and musically today. He won. Everything from his feel, to his sounds, to his choice of instruments, to his concept is unbelievable.

i still keep with Larnell lewis or Gavin harrison for musicality. chris would be winner for true innovation and free creation.

not many drummers you can recognize from few notes but not for Chris Dave. He sounds like no one else
Well time to rethink my playing again. Unbelievable drum concepts. Besides the ability to play the concept. One of the most creative modern drumming I have come across.
No one can emulate this man. He's a category of one.

Creative musician... In my opinion he has his own style, although seems to be a kind of odd to someone. Mostly many musicians (include many good ones) imitate other couples of good player. Contrary, I realise his signature when listening. It is nice there are some good and real player like him.
